About this ebook

It is a widely held belief that Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is not curable, that the best you can do is to learn good coping mechanisms. But new technologies are being invented all the time and now for the first time there is a major breakthrough for the field of Trauma Resolution. This book explains new trauma resolution techniques that in one study produced a 63% reduction in symptom severity from just one 6-hour group training. One week later the severity was down to 73% indicating that not only do the positive results of using these new techniques last, they get better over time.

It may seem outrageous to claim that trauma resolution could actually be easy but with the breakthroughs explained in this book, remarkably enough, it is.

On December 7th,1993, Tom was shot in the chest by a deranged stranger with a .44 caliber handgun. He miraculously lived through this assault and began his search for real solutions to the trauma resulting from this event. This lead him to the beginnings of the discovery of the techniques that are now being used to train Trauma Resolution Specialists world wide. In addition to veterans and active duty military personnel the techniques have been found equally effective for rape victims, victims of violent crimes, domestic abuse, natural disasters, first responders, etc. Tom is an extraordinary and entertaining trainer and presenter. Introduction

So that you know that I am speaking from experience and not just theory I want to start by letting you know that I was shot in the chest at close range with a .44 caliber hand gun on December 7, 1993. Clearly I lived through it as I am here writing this book. Naturally I was traumatized by this event as anyone would be. But the reason that I am writing this book is to share with you that I have completely resolved all of the trauma from this event and for a long time have had no symptoms of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) at all. Therefore, what I want you to know up front is that it is very possible to cure Post Traumatic Stress and I am a living example of it. Was I just lucky? Well, clearly I was lucky to not die from being shot with a .44. The assistant surgeon who visited me a few days after the first of two surgeries I had resulting from the incident told me that 1 in a 100,000 people would live through such an assault. I was also lucky to discover some extraordinary breakthrough techniques for resolving trauma. But the recovery from the trauma itself wasn’t just due to good luck. It was due to discovering and using new trauma resolution techniques and using them very thoroughly to resolve my own PTSD. In the process I learned how to teach others to do this too.

I’m not a psychologist. And it turns out that being one probably would have been a disadvantage as I would have very likely not been able to approach my PTSD in such an out-of-the-box way if I had formal training in conventional therapy methods.

Fortunately in my case, what I did have was a tenacious belief that there was a way to completely cure myself and a creative mind for exploring new kinds of approaches to finding a solution.

The full story of the incident of my getting shot is perhaps a topic of another eBook. For now I want to get on with explaining to you my insights about the underlying causes of why human beings are so lousy at resolving trauma, emotional pain, anxiety, depression, and the host of other PTSD symptoms. And then I want to show you exactly how you too can resolve your traumas thoroughly and completely and free yourself from the debilitating effects of trauma when left unresolved.

    Resignation

    PTSD Isn’t Curable Right?

    WRONG!

Recovery from Trauma has always seemed to be something very difficult if not impossible. Regardless of the source of the trauma, military combat, natural disaster, crime victim, rape victim, physical and sexual abuse, accidents; they have all shared one thing in common – people have a really hard time getting over these experiences. They tend to be haunted by nightmares, flashbacks, startle response, hyper-vigilance, anxiety, depression, survivor guilt, and a host of other residual symptoms as a consequence of the traumatic experience.

Most people in the therapeutic community use tools and techniques of cognitive therapy and/or exposure therapy (repeatedly talking about or remembering the traumatic event, with a general consensus that although these are the currently accepted resources, they are not that effective. For
