About this ebook

Author Kendrick D. Jones offers his first controversial, thought-provoking book that will shock and unravel minds throughout the nation! In today's economy, there are close to 100 million citizens either living in poverty, unemployed or headed in this direction, and Jones boldly gives you hard-hitting facts and insightful reasons as to why many U.S. citizens are poor today. As you are exposed to the essence of what NOT to do to become poor, you are simultaneously propelled to open your mind and learn what TO DO to become wealthy. The Real Reasons Why Many U.S. Citizens Want to be Poor will reveal the vital importance of finance, budgeting, parenting, fighting what you can't see, successful planning, identifying silent weapons for quiet wars, etc. He presents earth-shaking concepts and alternative methods of thinking about life and becoming financially successful that will blow you away! By programming the information from this book into your subconscious mind, you will begin to notice a shift in your own behavior and how other people attract to you.

Have you ever wondered…

Why most poor U.S. citizens can't visualize building the foundation of a generational empire of wealth that will last for the next 500 years?
Why most poor people love to be stagnant and remain in their conditions of mediocrity?
Why most poor people will not use a greater percentage of their brain power?
Why poor people, collectively, have over a trillion dollars in spending power, but are scared to use it to benefit them?
Why poor people gossip about each other and refuse to work together as oppose to wealthy people investing billions of dollars in other wealthy people's multi-national corporations?
Why many poor parents indirectly train their children to be poor, but wealthy parents train their children to control the majority of the wealth in the United States for centuries?

He claims that many people want to be poor if the following applies:

You're Not Using a Greater Percentage of Your Mind.
You're Chasing the 'Get-Rich-Quick' Carrot.
You Have a Microwave-type Mentality.
You Turn Down the Best Investment in the World.
You're Scared of Success & Failure.
You Create Excuses & Obstacles for Everything.
You're Always Looking for the Lazy Route.
You Hang with the Wrong Crowd of People.

This is a book written for...

people who are tired of being broke and want to establish a secure financial foundation for themselves and their family.
people who have hit rock bottom and are ready to learn the secrets to not becoming poor or getting out of poverty.
people who are tired of getting the same results after trying to get out of poverty.
people who are ready to move in a completely different direction in life and have unlimited cash flow.

"Start fighting what you can't see, which are these mental, emotional, and financial self- and other-created barriers."

    INTRODUCTION

I decided to write a book on this particular topic because I wanted to point out a variety of basic concepts and important values that many people either haven’t been taught, refuse to apply in their daily lives or just simply do not know how to apply. This book is meant to be a mirror held up to the faces of many of us who want to be poor; a mirror that can never be broken and book critics can have fun with and condemn or hold in high esteem until the end of time. At the end of the day, no one can ever deny the true underlying message and facts that are pointed out in this book; no one can hide from, conceal, bury, camouflage or minimize the essence of this book because it is a part of history now. You can only debate and discuss it now. From reading the title, you may think that I’m trying to be negative or be condescending, but truly, my intentions for writing this book were born out of a very deep irritation that has been growing since I began to actually see and understand the real reasons why some people, especially many African-Americans, are poor. My intentions are positive and I guarantee it. My purpose is to provoke, motivate, and energize the mind of all people while getting them to work toward being wealthy. To all who read this book, if you choose to have a closed-mind and are quick to react negatively and form superficial opinions without taking the time to think with logic and fully critique the overall gist of what is being stated, then you are simply shallow-minded and ignorant. I have no regrets. I only hope that all people will take advantage of this opportunity to learn and gain some knowledge and understanding of themselves and, in turn, help those who truly need and desire help.

It is also important to know that I didn’t follow any particular type of guidelines to help me write except for the use my written notes and ideas. I didn’t do any kind of research or read any books beforehand. I never approached anyone for their specific opinions on what to write because I basically wanted this book to be a true reflection of my personal thoughts and opinions as well as a pure expression of the facts from everyday life.

Initially, when I thought about writing my first book, I knew I wanted to write something that I was personally passionate about and something that would force people to have a strong emotional reaction, so at first, I came up with: The Real Reasons Why Some African-Americans Want to be Poor. I think, at
