About this audiobook
Billy the Kid was a real-life outlaw, a cattle rustler in the southwest who was wanted—dead or alive. One fateful night in 1881, he was shot and killed in a darkened room by nemesis Sheriff Pat Garnett. With this account, the sheriff aimed to set the record straight about his final showdown with the Kid. Since its publication, The Authentic Life of Billy, the Kid has served as a primary source on this legendary outlaw’s life for historians and storytellers alike.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Appallingly read, with regular stumbles over the words - unedited - and a moment of bizarre unaccountable groaning sounds… whomever is responsible for this recording is an unprofessional, immoral person.
And it ends before the last confrontation between The Kid and Pat Garrett…!
Absolute trash. Avoid at all costs. It only got one star because I couldn’t post this review without it. - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5This is a good book, but the audio was un-edited from the Narrator. Several times he clears his throat or starts over a sentence mid way through. Overall, he’s enjoyable to listen to, but the editing would have made this book much more enjoyable.
