About this audiobook

Somebody has been abducting children in Fairbanks, Alaska. One of the victims was fourteen-year-old Curtis Black's best friend Todd. Curtis saw it happen. He knows exactly who did it. But he can't prove that it was his neighbor Gerald Martin. The authorities find no evidence of the crime. There's nothing they can do. So he's going to confront Mr. Martin himself. And this is just the beginning of the terrifying story… From the author of PRESSURE and MY PRETTIES comes a nerve-wracking coming-of-age thriller. Reader reviews for AUTUMN BLEEDS INTO WINTER: "Screw this guy, seriously. How does he consistently put out book after book of awesomeness?" "Perfectly paced, with so many anxious moments and heart pounding twists. Also, the usual amount of hilarious lines to help keep your blood pressure from redlining. Highly recommended!" "I don’t know how he does it. I really don’t. But somehow, Jeff Strand seemingly effortlessly produces these amazingly varied, brilliantly executed, poignant, scary as hell books." "The perfect blend of humor and suspense." "A coming-of-age tale that would make Stephen King jealous." "This is one of the best coming of age stories that I have read in years." "Great read, absolutely packed with intensity. It just ramps up and up until the end." "The pacing, humor and strong characters are classic Strand."

I enjoyed this story. I like the idea of knowing who it is but no one will believe you because there is not enough evidence. I can't imagine how frustrating that is for someone.

Going to absolutely GET the next horror book-toker who recommends a book with no caveats and it turns out to be YA AGAIN - THEY CANT KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS. but otherwise pretty great book after I stopped wondering why it felt so childish even from a teen’s pov lol, really like the narrator’s voice (our protag and the literal narrator) and how the author wasn’t afraid to go wild lol. Plus it’s been a while since I read something with a happy ending. Cheers !

From a young teenager's point of view. A little long but stay with it.

Strand is amazing to me. He can write a true horror story about a serial killer, kids missing while inserting humor that is really funny and places it at exactly where it should go. I loved this book!!

Considering this was a story about a child serial killer, it's was so much fun! A quirky thriller?? The main character gave me total Holden Caulfield vibes. Plenty of LOL moments, again considering the topic.

This book was so refreshing and fun. Clever. Not really predictable, but the plot had a logical progression with how events play out. Satisfyingly unique for a shorter novel. Very realistic human responses to emotional events, actions, consequences and thought processes. A fun read. Can’t wait to read more of this authors work!
