About this audiobook

'Innumerable gems . . . by one of the company's most astute observers' - Economist

THE UNVARNISHED PICTURE OF AMAZON’S UNPRECEDENTED GROWTH AND ITS BILLIONAIRE FOUNDER, JEFF BEZOS

Almost ten years ago, Bloomberg journalist Brad Stone captured the rise of Amazon in his bestseller The Everything Store. Since then, Amazon has expanded exponentially, disrupting countless industries while its valuation has soared to well over a trillion dollars. We now live in a world run, supplied and controlled by Amazon and its founder.

In Amazon Unbound, Stone presents a vividly drawn portrait of how a retail upstart became one of the most powerful and feared entities in the global economy. With unparalleled access to current and former executives, employees and critics, he shows how seismic changes inside the company led to dramatic innovations, as well as to missteps that turned public sentiment against the company.

Authoritative, timely and revelatory, Amazon Unbound is the definitive account of a man and company we couldn’t imagine modern life without.

A lot of highs and lows, but persistence made them to become successful.

One if the most inspiring moment in this book is when Amazon decided to control their own logistics..

They are always thinking on how to adapt and make great improvements.

If they fail, they fail fast and move on..

But one thing that really made Amazon to succeed, was because of their ability to not stop working but to adapt with any situation at hand..

Here are things I think are worth implementing.

1• always come up with new inventions. Test, Test, Test.

2• Try to move fast, most times patience is not a virtue...

when he was building blue origin,

he lost many deals to space x because he was too patiently thinking more of long term,

Instead of setting death lines and demanding the impossible at the shortest amount of time.

Be patience, but learn how to move fast.

3• Have the skills of adaptability.

Most ideas didn't work out first, but because they where aways thinking of ways to adapt and overcome problems,

    They succeeded.

4• Take full control of your shit..

Just like they did with logistics, advertising and search engines.

5• Never stop thinking and doing things big..

6• Have enough cash reserve to play the game for long term even if you fail when starting out.
