About this audiobook
Eury comes to the Bronx as a girl haunted. Haunted by losing everything in Hurricane Maria--and by an evil spirit, Ato. She fully expects the tragedy that befell her and her family in Puerto Rico to catch up with her in New York. Yet, for a time, she can almost set this fear aside, because there's this boy...
Pheus is a golden-voiced, bachata-singing charmer, ready to spend the summer on the beach with his friends, serenading his on-again, off-again flame. That changes when he meets Eury. All he wants is to put a smile on her face and fight off her demons. But some dangers are too powerful for even the strongest love, and as the world threatens to tear them apart, Eury and Pheus must fight for each other and their lives.
Acclaimed author Lilliam Rivera reimagines the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice into a timely story about cultural identity, overcoming trauma, and the power of first love.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Second in the Look series, not a quick paced as the first. Clare opens a pro bono law office downtown. But is a killer, with a calling card of dolls targeting her to kill her? Or harass her? Meanwhile, boyfriend, Detective Sonterra is still hanging around helping her chase down leads and she's not sure if she should give her heart to him or not
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is the second book in the trilogy. Clare Westbrook, former foster child, is now a defense lawyer. She is raising her sister's child, after the disappearance of her sister, thirteen years earlier and the imprisonment of her sister's husband. She is also wrestling with a relationship with a Homicide Detective in Scottsdale, AZ. And if that isn't enough, someone has shot out the window of her new law office.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Never Look Back is the second novel in the Clare Westbrook Series. I really enjoyed the book. It was a delight to read. It was full of suspense, and humor. Just like in Don’t Look Now I laughed so many times well reading. The very first sentence left me in stitches.“If there’s a maniac or a mad ax murderer within a hundred mile radius, he - or she - will come straight to me, Clare Westbrook, hapless attorney at law, like steel filings to a magnet.”The book is fast-paced, very hard to put down, and the characters are outstanding. I have not read One Last Look yet, the third book of the series. I am going to start it, right now.Well reading a few other reviews of the books in this series. Many people compare it to the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. I have never read anything by Evanovich, so I wouldn’t know. Maybe she is an author I should check out!
