The stone wall tiles and wooden painted kitchen were put in by the previous owner. Nichola replaced the island unit doors with a curtain made from an old French linen sheet, hung on a length of copper pipe. The oil painting was found at a local brocante. Nichola collects earthenware plates and bowls, and vintage French lampshades, which have been strung from the rafters to illuminate the space.
