So big is his legacy that it’s unfathomable that it is 750do it as well as the city of Stirling, where he scored a decisive victory at the nearby Battle of Bannockburn in 1314. This year also marks the 900th anniversary of the Royal Burgh of Stirling, so the city is sure to be in a celebratory mood.
