I LOVE going on solo dates.

Spending a day or even just a few hours unplugging from the rest of the world and prioritising me-time is something I cherish. I try to plan these dates at least once a month, ensuring they’re more than just time spent alone. Instead, they’re about switching off and engaging in activities that help me feel recharged, refocused and refuelled.

Whether it’s enjoying a lovely lunch, taking time out to journal, reading a book or indulging in a day of self-care with visits to a spa or getting my hair and nails done, solo dates have become a vital form of rest and relaxation for me.

While the common assumption about rest often involves just catching up on some much-needed sleep, there are various ways to unwind and recharge your batteries.
