DOWN, DIESEL!

I’m dyslexic and for a long time I believed everyone else was smarter than me. School was a battle. I repeated Grade 3 due to not being able to spell and left school at the end of Grade 10.

I’ve recently started writing stories about my puppy and I’d like to share a snippet with you.

Diesel loves visitors, friends, and family. Yesterday to his delight, I let him out to greet our visitors. They had arrived to collect a desk I no longer needed. Their car was quite small but once the back seats were flattened there seemed to be enough space for the desk, and there would have been, but unfortunately Diesel was inside their car, getting ready to go on a road trip!

Being the size he is, is very daunting for children especially when he’s close to them. It compares to adults being close to a very excited cart horse. I
