LETTER of the MONTH
Returning to vinyl
Recently my husband and I bought a record player. The pleasure of flipping through the boxes of vinyl LPs in the store was exciting and very nostalgic and, after the excitement of setting up our new player, we had the great pleasure of listening to fantastic sound quality which is second to none – so clear that it felt like the musicians were in the room. More so, the feel of opening the new vinyl, the slip of the precious record out of its sleeve, the careful placement of the record on the deck and the lift of the needle and placing it delicatelyso amazing and nostalgic, taking me back to my childhood. It was a little like opening a new book but much, much better. I feel like I’ve gone back in time and, as they say, what goes around comes around!
