10 years of Sensi Swim

I started this swimwear brand when I was 23 years old, before I knew anything. Looking back, I know that I was able to persevere due to sheer grit and a determination to prove myself. I knew what I wanted and I had enough guts to try, even if I didn’t believe entirely in myself. I’ve been a professional kiteboarder competing on the KPL World Tour in park riding for the past 10 years. But before I ever put my sights on trying to win competitions and get sponsors, I wanted to start a company.

I’ve always wanted to be an entrepreneur. When I was 12 years old, I started a local newspaper called The Leggett Letter, which was essentially a small collection of stories I would write, lost dog postings I would find on the town’s bulletin board, and recipes that my mom would help me type up in a Word document on our massive computer.
