WHAT IS CFD

So what is this CFD, or better Computational Fluid Dynamics? Is it possible to explain without everyone finding it unintelligible? We could try relying on omnipresent Wikipedia, which quotes “computational fluid dynamics (cfd) is a branch of fluid mechanics that uses numerical analysis and data structures to analyze and solve problems that involve  fluid flows”. And use this as a starting point for complicated explanations. It doesn’t work, Wikipedia will not help us, not this time. Let us try differently.

CFD is nothing but applying more or less complex
