IT’S been quite a start to the year. We’d been warned that the problems with Eskom were going to get worse and they weren’t kidding – stage 6 loadshedding came rolling along while many of us were still brushing the beach sand from our feet and washing the saltwater from our hair.
Real life can be a lot to handle sometimes. Many of you are sending your kids to school for the first time, trying to negotiate a lack of electricity and wondering how you’re going to afford higher power bills when things are already so tight.
But there’s also so much to celebrate in a country like ours – especially the people who have their hearts set on making a difference.
