    Walking into the job interview, my stomach was swirling with nerves.

    Having emigrated from Kenya to Australia in 2015 to study disability and community services, I’d graduated and was looking for my dream job.

    Chatting with the team of recruiters, I was comforted by the warm smile of a man on the panel.

    ‘We’ll be in touch in a week’s time,’ he advised.

    I was thrilled when I was offered the job.
