IT’S been more than seven decades since the Americans dropped nuclear bombs on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War 2. Today, the Hiroshima Peace Memorial commemorates this event, in which hundreds of thousands of people were killed.
The monument, which is situated in the Hiroshima Peace Park, bears testimony to all those lives lost in
