BURNING LOVE

Packing up the car, I grinned at my three children in the back.

‘Are we going to see Auntie Claire?’ Winter, six, squealed.

‘We are,’ I smiled to her and her sister Tabitha, four.

Their faces lit up.

Due to the pandemic, we hadn’t seen my sister Claire, 39, in over a year and we were so excited to reunite.

As she lives in London, we’d agreed to meet half-way in Basingstoke, in April of this year for a picnic.

Not only would we finally get to reunite, but Claire would get to meet her newest nephew, James, one.

So far, she’d only seen him over FaceTime, so this was a big day for everyone.
