TAKE TWO

Time to have one of those raw, brutal, hit-you-upside-your-head chats about your writing. I’ll be as gentle as I can, because writing is personal. Even if your stories have nothing to do with your real life, you birthed these characters and put them in unique situations that are compelling and full of conflict. You’ve spent hundreds of hours building these worlds. Simply put, you love your characters, warts and all. You want to protect not only them, but also your scenes, or “darlings,” as we often refer to them.
