I’m not in love. No, like the song says, the one that’s playing on the radio now, I’m not in love. I’m just going through a silly phase.
‘Hey, Marianne.’
I swivel round in my chair to face Larry, who is approaching through the lab. My heart flutters, but it doesn’t mean anything. Not really. He has only surprised me, that’s all.
‘Larry. What’s up?’
‘You got the results of the Friary Park tests yet?’
