As the Bard, William Shakespeare, wrote long before motorcycles first appeared on the scene, “All that glistens is not gold”, and this DOT Demon 250 Scrambler might be a case in point. The “pretty boy” of 1960s British two-stroke competition stood out from the other four UK brands available at the time because of its polished tank and red frame but this American restoration has taken things so far that it makes the machines in our Bike Builds special edition (#489) look decidedly ordinary.
