Let’s take a breath together. Lately we have sailed through some rough seas. Life, as we comfortably understood it, changed right before our very eyes. And changed rapidly.

I was due to get married in March. We spent the Sunday before our wedding date clearing a paddock in Byron Bay’s hinterland, getting it ready for our ceremony. Everything was going according to plan, including the weather. Then, just 48 hours later, we found ourselves breaking the sad news to our friends and family: our wedding was on hold indefinitely due to the coronavirus outbreak. But our love, we soon learned, was stronger than ever.
