Background App Refresh
This refers to when certain apps, such as various news and store apps, refresh their content while you aren’t using the app so that they present only the most up-to-date content when you are using them. To save battery, this can be turned off in Settings>General.
Markup tools
Both macOS and iOS feature a built-in toolset that allows you to quickly mark up certain files, such as PDFs and photos. Through these tools you can add annotations, signatures, shapes and notes to files before sharing them with other people.
Personal Hotspot
This is a useful option on your iPhone that allows you to use your mobile data to provide internet access for other devices, such as a MacBook, that don’t have a Wi-Fi connection. It is particularly handy for remote working.
