I am fortunate to be able to review many books about truly historical shipwrecks. Some are more exceptional than others. When our dear friend, Richie Kohler, presented his new book, Mystery of the Last Olympian - Titanic’s Tragic Sister Britannic for a review, I was honored to be one of the first to read and review the book. Kohler has written a thoughtful and well-researched book on RMS Britannic. The manuscript documents a personal journey to explore this ship to discover what really happened to her and illuminate some of her lost mysteries.
RMS was the third and last -class vessel built by Harland and Wolff for the White Star Line, and was the sister ship of both RMS and the ill-fated RMS . She was the largest of the three vessels and, after the disaster, she underwent several design changes with safety in mind.
