Adversity, it’s everywhere. In fact, since evolving from cavemen to the highly finessed individuals of the modern world, the one thing that’s continued to underpin the very fabric of our being is that we experience moments of great joy, but also many challenges.
But why do some people appear to roll with the punches while others crumble under the smallest of stresses? Psychologist Wendy Knight says that this reaction is all down to our resilience, a skill she teaches patients at her clinic.
