Dynamic outfielder Luis Robert hit .453/.512/.920 in 75 at-bats, while 2019 No. 3 overall pick Andrew Vaughn fell seven plate appearances short of the minimum after joining the Dash in late July.

Wilmington’s pitching staff impressed managers the most. Pitching coach Steve Luebber returned from Double-A to guide a new wave of pitching prospects, and three of those arms—all first-round picks in the 2018 draft—ranked among the top 10 prospects in the league.

Hall ranked fifth in the Carolina League with 116 strikeouts despite throwing fewer than 81 innings. The bad news is that he walked 6.0 per nine innings.
