  This book has a wonderful message, is beautifully written and illustrated. I love to give this book, which a child would grow into, along with a gift for the present, to a new baby. Miss Rumphius addresses a belief that everyone should try to make the world a nicer place. The story is set in Maine, uses multi generations, other cultures, and a love of flowers. It would be a great gift for a gradener of any age too!
