Ask an executive in Silicon Valley whether technological advances over the last two decades were beneficial and they would likely answer in the affirmative. Ask Second Circuit Judges deciding the extent of personal jurisdiction in an internet domain name trademark dispute, however, and the answer reveals less enthusiasm: "attempting to apply established trademark law in the fast-developing world of the internet is somewhat like trying to board a moving bus." 1 And ask a university psychology professor researching behavioral patterns of today's youth and she will suggest that current technology such as MySpace and YouTube have helped give rise to the most narcissistic and self-centered generation in history. 2 The internet is only one example of technology that raises probing issues. Military warfare has become increasingly more sophisticated, modern PDAs allow for ubiquitous online connectivity, and NASA has been successful in sending numerous rovers and orbiters to Mars. In the midst of such progress which may seem both exciting and chaotic, David Nye asks that we take pause to consider the economic, social, environmental and psychological impact technology has on human lives.

We live in a high tech world, with high tech classrooms. We embrace the benefits of using I pads during class, integrating tweets during presentations, and teaching students while using smart TVs. We know the many benefits of incorporating technology while teaching, such as adding diversity to lessons, increasing student interaction, and to bringing new perspectives and knowledge to the class. Technology can have a large impact on users' mental and physical health. Being overly connected can cause psychological issues such as distraction, narcissism, expectation of instant gratification, and even depression. Besides affecting users' mental health, use of technology can also have negative repercussions on physical health causing vision problems, hearing loss, and neck strain.
COMMUNICATION As per the rapid development of technology, everything has changed their style and shape. However, some changes seem very positive but on the other side, it affects many valuable and intimacy-booster factors negatively. Keeping relationship alive with people through electronic means is not as much effective as the real face to face interaction is, because face to face communication will enable you to get more as compare to being engaged in wireless communication. Thus, the upcoming discussion will reveal all the shortcomings of technologies that affect communication pessimistically. It's well-known that communication plays a vital role in human being society because maintaining the relationship with family members, peers, relatives, and with all those who are close to us and touches our lives in one way or another is indispensable. Simply if we observe people in our community nearly half of them have access to some sort of technological means such as Smartphone, computers, tablets, iPods, and much more types of devices to use it for stable contacts instead of visiting and communicating closely and physically. According to Larry Rosen, virtual communication is not commendable like real world interactions. To see the enrichment and ubiquity of technological devices we are obliged to interact more with virtual friends than real-world people. As addiction, communication through electronic means takes more time than real-world communication even we know that it keep us in distance while not perceiving each other closely and intimately, despite of this, still publics; especially younger generations are using technological sources for communication and messages. And if we keep such a way of communication constant it will not let us interact personally. One study, conducted by the Kaiser Family Foundation, found people ages 8 to 18 spent more time on media than on any other activity – at an average of 7.5 hours a day (Rideout, Foehr, & Roberts, 2010). It would have been a very good thing that people had considered physically existed communication essential and important. If they were aware that how much the real world communication is useful that may not have been engaged as much in non-natural ways of communication as they currently are. In 2010, a study proved that as internet use increased, time spent with family and friends decreased while 39% of Americans spend more time socializing online than face-to-face (Brown 2013). We may think as we are social by using electronic means for keeping relationship but according to Sherry Turkle psychologist: not engaging in real world communication is just a sip of communication because we cannot get comprehensive results from the virtual exchange of information.
Cyberspace missionaries try to work the ‘ human body ’ with the technologic devices. Can you imagine? Today, so much so that we are being depend on digital world. So, I want to emphasize this important phenomenon because of, it will affect to people life very strongly in the future.
The use of technology has largely replaced the telephone and letter as the principal means of communication for today's online savvy population. Mobile phones offer not only instant telephone contact but also enable users to communicate online with faceless or encountered and un-encountered friends, access sampled and un-sampled likes and comment on visited and un-visited places. Instant communication both vocal and visual are the modern norms and social media is now the predominant method used by 18-35 year olds to get in touch with

The paper exposes the non-neutrality of modern technologies in general and communication and information technologies in particular by focusing on the biases and discriminations that are built-in or embedded in the designs and operation systems of technological artefacts of now a days. The central argument of this paper is that modern technologies are shaping and controlling our life on daily basis often unknown to us, though they appear neutral objects at first glance. The current controversial status of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and human thinking is another main theme of the paper in which it is clearly and strongly argued that it is not worth living to delegate the works of our mind to AI or thinking machines, though there is a tendency of co-acting and sharing the most important distinctive feature/character (creative thinking) of human beings among thinking machines and human beings. Here, arises the need for democratizing and transforming the mainstream of design, operation and decision making in the realm of modern technologies, which in turn requires a thorough critical evaluation and philosophical enquiry into the design and operation of modern technological artefacts.

tween the Soviet Union and the U.S. in the late 1950s and early 1960s should be recognized more for what it did to communications than for space exploration. As a result of the innovations of that era, satellites orbiting the earth allow for instantaneous communication through various systems such as: network television, teleconferences, telephone service, and pay TV services. THE ROLE OF "REAL PEOPLE" IN A MEDIATED WORLD. Will shop at home networks replace shopping malls? Will computer-generated curriculum make teachers obsolete? Will teleconferencing result in empty office buildings? Some futurists make such extreme predictions, but in reality the odds are not likely that any such dramatic .'~' ,__ .

We live in an “always-on” world where people are expected to stay connected with friends, family members, and co-workers. We are becoming a culture that is dependent on technology to complete the activities in our daily lives. Technology is changing our culture in such a way that we may be expected to be available and “online” at anytime of the day or night. This exploratory study of 88 undergraduate and graduate students at a midAtlantic university found that students depend on technology to fulfill their communication and information seeking needs and to complete their daily activities. This study argues that students are becoming increasingly dependent on technology to accomplish their daily activities and thus forgetting how to complete these tasks without the use of technology.
Owing to the application of technology, our standard of living has increased. Our needs are met with greater ease. Technology has brought advancements in agriculture, due to which food produce has increased. Owing to the developments in engineering and architecture, building robust civil structures has been possible. Technology has boosted every industry. Businesses have grown, creating more employment opportunities.
