In this paper, an employee tracking system based on web based operating system was developed. All the activities of the Employee will be monitored using this system. Scheduling information and time off requests are often considered part of personnel tracking; as this information will enable managers know when employees are expected to actually be in the office or other work areas. This system is really very helpful for the managers to monitor their employees through mobile phones. It was implemented using JAVA programming language, and the result was stored in SQLite database. An object-Oriented Analysis and design (OOAD) approach was adopted which consist of a well-planned iterative steps. Data was collected using document analysis and field Methods and the application of relevant analytical methods like bar-charts were used to interpret the facts collected. The developed system was able to increased productivity, reduction of cost, instant access to employee attendance record.

The purpose of the Analysis, Performance Monitoring and Tracking System for employee is to automate the existing manual system by the help of computerized equipment's and full-fledged computer software, fulfilling their requirements, so that their valuable data/information can be stored for a longer period with easy accessing and manipulation of the same. The required software and hardware are easily available and easy to work with. Analysis, Performance Monitoring and Tracking System, as described above, can lead to error free, secure, reliable and fast management system. It can assist the user to concentrate on their other activities rather to concentrate on the record keeping. Thus it will help organization in better utilization of resources. The organization can maintain computerized records.
The employee monitoring system is an android application used to monitor the call logs, sent and receive messages and the GPS location of an employee. The application is implemented using Java script, the application interface was designed with Xml and Php for the automatic mailing system. The organisations success depends on employees' performance; poor performance is detrimental to the company's success. It is necessary for an employer to keep track of his employees' at all times to ensure the quality of service from the employees' and maximum output from them. This paper deals with the design and development of an employee monitoring system using Android which will be accessed from the company's email account. INTRODUCTION In recent years, mobile phones are being used greatly and new technologies emerge from time to time to meet the demands of users. In this project the android platform will be used as it is an open source which is gaining ground in today's market rapidly and is widely accepted and easily accessible in today's market The employee monitoring system (EMS) is an application which will run on any android mobile phone which has a GPS connectivity. The application will be a background application which will not disturb the functionability of the phone and will not prompt the user for any kind of confirmation. The purpose of this proposed system is to help the employer or supervisors keep track of its employees Android mobile phone from time to time by monitoring his/her call details, messages and geographical location. The application is installed on the employees' mobile phone and information of the employees activities will be sent to the employer through emails to the employer/supervisor after monitoring the employees' activities. This application will ensure that the employer will be constantly updated of the dealings of its employees from time to time because the success of an organization depends on the performance of its employees. This will ensure quality of service, detect misuse of company phones and also reduce call charges
ABSTRACT Employees are the backbone of any company therefore their management plays a major role in deciding the success of an organization. Each employee in the database is associated with a position can be added and edited when need arises. Over the years the process of manual attendance has been carried out which is not only time consuming but also provides erroneous result. Automated time and attendance monitoring system provides many benefits to organizations. This reduces the need of pen and paper based manual attendance tracking system. Following this thought, this paper discussed how employers indirectly gather information on their employees in the workplace. The means used in achieving this aim is through e-monitoring and surveillance. In this project, a finger print module is implemented with the Employee tracking system to register employee data and allow access to the system, with this employers can monitor the attendance system of employees more effectively and from data collected can form a result for each employee.

Originally, the only way to confirm employee presence at work involved physical supervision and signing of sheets on arrival. People could report to work late and therefore, they could not render their services effectively thus leading to loss of time and low productivity. Also, such scenarios create thriving grounds for ghost workers in organizations, which lead to increased wage bills for companies and frustrations to human resource managers. As a result, there is lack of accountability among workers in areas of time management and work productivity to determine the compensation due.
