Inadequacies in nutritional intake can be considered as a major source of adverse effects on the growth and health of individuals in India. A proper balanced diet is essential from the very early stages of life for proper growth, development, to remain active and to reduce the risk of diseases. For those with diabetes, a proper diabetes diet is crucial which depends upon their energy requirements. So a need has been identified to develop educational software which should perform the routine task of analyzing, optimizing, and transforming diet by considering their energy requirements and medical problems. The different nutritional values present in a diet are generally affected by imprecision, which can be represented and analyzed by fuzzy logic. For diet balancing, a metaheuristic local search algorithm is proposed which works in a local search space recording the history of search to make it more effective and optimized. These proposed methods will help users to improve their nutritional intakes by providing detail analysis of their food intake, by providing an optimized diet plan and by suggesting possible changes to make their diet suitable according to their energy requirements.
" Your body is your temple " As people across the globe are becoming more health conscious, eating more healthy food and avoiding junk food, a system that can measure calories and nutrition in every day meals can be very useful for maintaining one " s health. Food calorie and nutrition measurement system is very beneficial for dieticians and patients to measure and manage their daily food intake. We also know that it " s difficult to find an affordable nutritionist or a dietician across the street; therefore, we have proposed a system – DIET AND NUTRITION EXPERT SYSTEM. The proposed system is a responsive android application which contains the knowledge and data regarding the fitness of a person and nutrition content values. This application consists of the user interface which will be publicly displayed on the application i.e. the basic information regarding the fitness and nutrition values such as how to maintain good health by adapting healthy eating habits which includes the intake of calories, proteins and carbohydrates etc. in proper proportion. A dietician consults a person based on his schedule, body type, height and weight. The system too asks all this data from the user and processes it. It asks about how many hours the user works, his height, weight, age etc. The system stores and processes this data and then calculates the nutrient value needed to fill up users " needs.

Nutritional assessment is key in order to make decisions about the nature and cause of nutrition related health issues that a ect an individual. e systematic process of collecting and interpreting relevant nutrition information, however, is still in its technological infancy. Despite technological advances in storage and analysis of nutritional data, methods for collecting data are largely unchanged over the past two decades. It is well documented that these methods have issues that cause under-reporting. Meanwhile, new developments in wearable biometric logging devices have seen increased traction among individuals. is is sometimes referred to as the anti ed Self movement. One part of this movement is the development of technological means for objectively collecting nutritional data. Nutritional assessment, however, is about to be heavily impacted by emerging computer science technologies, and this survey provides an overview of promising technology approaches supporting nutritional assessment. Both academic and commercial systems are reviewed and categorized.

Background: Standardizing the background diet of participants during a dietary randomized controlled trial is vital to trial outcomes. For this process, dietary modeling based on food groups and their target servings is employed via a dietary prescription before an intervention, often using a manual process. Partial automation has employed the use of linear programming. Validity of the modeling approach is critical to allow trial outcomes to be translated to practice. Objective: This paper describes the first-stage development of a tool to automatically perform dietary modeling using food group and macronutrient requirements as a test case. The Dietary Modeling Tool (DMT) was then compared with existing approaches to dietary modeling (manual and partially automated), which were previously available to dietitians working within a dietary intervention trial. Methods: Constraint optimization techniques were implemented to determine whether nonlinear constraints are best suited to the development of the automated dietary modeling tool using food composition and food consumption data. Dietary models were produced and compared with a manual Microsoft Excel calculator, a partially automated Excel Solver approach, and the automated DMT that was developed. Results: The web-based DMT was produced using nonlinear constraint optimization, incorporating estimated energy requirement calculations, nutrition guidance systems, and the flexibility to amend food group targets for individuals. Percentage differences between modeling tools revealed similar results for the macronutrients. Polyunsaturated fatty acids and monounsaturated fatty acids showed greater variation between tools (practically equating to a 2-teaspoon difference), although it was not considered clinically significant when the whole diet, as opposed to targeted nutrients or energy requirements, were being addressed. Conclusions: Automated modeling tools can streamline the modeling process for dietary intervention trials ensuring consistency of the background diets, although appropriate constraints must be used in their development to achieve desired results. The DMT was found to be a valid automated tool producing similar results to tools with less automation. The results of this study suggest interchangeability of the modeling approaches used, although implementation should reflect the requirements of the dietary intervention trial in which it is used.

The objective of this work was to study the mathematical modeling in the development of complex menus for diabetic patients. For this purpose, a database of the main characteristics (proteins, fat, carbohydrates, calories and price) has been created for dishes offered at University of Food Technologies' Training Restaurant. The preferences of the consumers (through a survey conducted among the clients of the Training Restaurant) and the recommendations of physicians regarding the healthy nutrition of diabetic patients have been investigated. Mathematical models are developed based on binary variables (existing menu), with value-1 representing menu entry, and value 0 defining non-participation in the target function. The mathematical model contains restrictions on the composition of the menu. Various menu types have been developed and have been assigned target functions. The proposed mathematical model allows for different conversions depending on specific goals that meet the lim...

Gerçek Ortaya Çıkar (“The Truth Will Out”) başlıklı bu kitap, Türkiye'nin dış politika sorunlarından birine ışık tutmak amacıyla daha önce yayımlanmış makalelerinin kapsamlı bir derlemesidir. Büyükelçi Pulat Y. Tacar, Türkiye'ye ve Türklere yönelik Ermeni iddialarına ve tarihsel çarpıtmalara üçüncü taraf soruşturmalarında ve üst düzey uluslararası platformlarda dahi karşı koymuş, kariyerinde ordinaryüs düzeyine çıkmış, hukuk geçmişi olan son derece tecrübeli bir diplomat olarak, iddiaları en kırılgan cephesinden, hukuki, adli dayanaklarından ele almayı tercih etmiştir. AVİM'in, dönemin olaylarının tarihi, siyasi, dini yönleri hakkında çok sayıda yayını bulunmaktadır. ------ The tragic events of the First World War, the ebb and flow of the calamities of war in the Eastern Anatolia front, including the relocation and resettlement of some of the Armenian population in specific areas has become a topic construed out of context and abused for political ends to hammer Türkiye and the Turkish people. Retired Ambassador Pulat Y. Tacar has studied this subject extensively from a legal-judicial point of view and has published numerous articles on the subject. This book, titled “The Truth Will Out,” is a comprehensive compilation of his previously published articles to shed light on one of Türkiye’s foreign policy challenges. Ambassador Pulat Y. Tacar, a highly seasoned diplomat with a legal background, an emeritus in his career, having countered Armenian allegations and historically distorted narrative against Türkiye and the Turks even at third party inquiries and high-level international platforms, has opted to deal with the allegations from its most vulnerable façade, that of legal, judicial basis. AVİM has a number of publications on the historical, political, religious aspects of the events of the time. The 44th book published by AVİM and Terazi Publishing, “The Truth Will Out,” is a legalistic reference source that is bound to sustain its validity. As AVİM, we are proud to present this valuable work to readers interested in the subject.
