This movement has been melted into Turkish Intellectual History with having no influence. Mehmet Kaplan, in his college years, met with the books of Hilmi Ziya Ulken who is one of the prime actors of Anatolianism movements. He was following Ulken's class in his university years and claiming that he is one of the active persuants of that movement. As an active intelectual, he has never changed his position regarding to that movement and exposed his active position by the end of his life for his passion to Anatolian movement with different occasions. Kaplan's passion to Anatolia was very well known but his close connections to Anatolianist has never been examined. In this research, as first, the both his connections and passions is taken into consideration as together.

ÖZET Dil dünyasında emek harcayanlar kullandıkları dili yüceltmek ve onunla yükselmek isterler. Mehmet Kaplan bir edebiyat uzmanı bakışıyla dil üzerindeki görüşlerini çeşitli denemelerinde yansıtmıştır. Bu denemelerinde aynı zamanda Türkçenin problemlerini ele almış ve bu problemlere çözümler sunmuştur. Kaplan'ın üzerinde durduğu problemlerin bir kısmı bugün de güncelliğini koruması bakımından dikkat çekicidir. Bu makalede Mehmet Kaplan'ın dil üzerindeki görüşleri çeşitli açılardan ele alınmıştır. Mehmet Kaplan sincerely wrote to his best friend Âli Ölmezoğlu about his days, mood, ideas and surroundings. From time to time, differentiating thoughts and emotions can be followed from these letters. The main features of the Kaplan are: hard work, inward personality and dedication to Alain. What are the reasons / ties that bind Kaplan to Alain's every deed and to deify him? Kaplan, who is worried about his friend Âli in almost everything from literature, politics, family life, philosophical thoughts, friendship and business relations, must have seen Alain (without exception) touching the points he is uncomfortable with and dissatisfied with. In order to support this idea, in the light of Alain's works, Letters to Ali, Mehmet Kaplan's insights and references to Alain will be discussed under subheadings.
