Cloud computing is a computing term or metaphor that evolved in the late 2000s, based on utility and consumption of computing resources. Cloud computing involves deploying groups of remote servers and software network that allow centralized data storage and online access to computer services or resources. Cloud computing relies on sharing of resources to achieve coherence and economy of scale, similar to a utility (like the electricity grid) over a network. At the foundation of cloud computing is the broader concept of converged infrastructure and shared services.

Cloud Computing is a very recent term which is mainly based on distributed computing, virtualization, utility computing, networking and web and software services. This kind of service oriented architecture reduces information technology overhead for end user, total cost of ownership, supports flexibility and on-demand services. KeywordsCloud Computing, Grid Computing, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.

Cloud" is a collective term for a large number of developments and possibilities. It is not an invention, but more of a "practical innovation", combining several earlier inventions into something new and compelling. Much like the iPod is comprised of several existing concepts and technologies (the Walkman, MP3 compression and a portable hard disk), cloud computing merges several already available technologies: high bandwidth networks, virtualization, Web 2.0 interactivity, time sharing, and browser interfaces. Cloud Computing is a popular phrase that is shorthand for applications that were developed to be rich Internet applications that run on the Internet (or "Cloud"). Cloud computing enables tasks to be assigned to a combination of software and services over a network. This network of servers is the cloud. Cloud computing can help businesses transform their existing server infrastructures into dynamic environments, expanding and reducing server capacity depending on their requirements. A cloud computing platform dynamically provisions, configures, reconfigures, and deprovisions servers as needed. Servers in the cloud can be physical machines or virtual machines. Advanced clouds typically include other computing resources such as storage area networks (SANs), network equipment, firewall and other security devices.

Cloud computing is pictured as the next-generation technology. It is a web-based technology where quality services are provided to users including data and software, on remote servers. Cloud computing is just like as called Data outsourcing as an outsider gives storage services to the client. There is producing good result for the customers without costing a lot of money for equipment and programming for information storage. Cloud computing eliminates the need of having a complete infrastructure of software and hardware to meet clients requirements and applications. It can be thought of or considered as an entire or an incomplete outsourcing of hardware and software resources. To access cloud applications, a fast Internet connection and a standard Internet browser are required. It offers an on-demand and scalable access to a shared pool of resources hosted in a data Centre at providers' site.

Cloud computing is an evolving technology that is consistently generating impact in IT industry and academia. It performs all computational tasks over Internet by using virtualization techniques and remains isolated from intricate vast hardware and software infrastructures. The aim of this paper is to glance through the background and evolutions of cloud computing, its architecture and services to develop cumulative knowledge for future research extension and evaluation.
Journal of Global Information Management
The global competition have extended the scope of trade and extended the supply chains causing the information management to be an essential part of the businesses. Many new technologies have recently been adapted by organizations in the era of digitalization. Cloud computing had an important place in these technologies and has been integrated widely to organizations. In recent days unexpected and risky periods such as the global pandemic increased the interest towards cloud computing topic in both academically and practically. The purpose of this study is to analyze and classify the contributions of the studies published in cloud computing field. The cloud literature is analyzed systematically from the management and business point of view. The review is limited with journal articles and papers published between 2014 and 2019. This research summarizes the current research attempts, discovers the research gaps and provides a research agenda for the future research on cloud computing...
Cloud Computing-It is an emerging technology that allows user to use IT services over the internet on rent basis where consumer pays per usage of services. The fundamental concept of cloud computing is that the computing is "in the cloud". The "cloud" is the process through which consumers and businesses can use the applications that are not installed inhouse. Thus, specific files, data, and software all can be accessed from any computer with internet access. Cloud computing refers to accessing software and storing data in the "cloud" representation of the Internet or a network and using associated services. Cloud computing implies both the applications delivered as services over the Internet and the hardware and systems software in the data centers that provide those services. Thus, Cloud computing means entrusting data to information systems that are managed by external parties on remote servers "in the cloud." Webmail and online documents (such as Google Docs) are wellknown examples where Google is a 100% Cloud Company.

Cloud computing is an emerging model of “computing as utility†to provide convenient, on demand access to shared pool of resources. In this paper, this grooming technology is presented in terms of its basic characteristics, services provided, models, and why cloud computing is a widely accepted in business and software enterprises.
