When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.-Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1890) There's nothing more misleading than an obvious fact.-Arturo Pérez-Reverte (1990) I N 1916, a British fleet that was superior in numbers and much more heavily armed than its German opponent failed to achieve a decisive victory at the battle of Jutland. It also suffered greater losses than it inflicted. Many attributed this unsatisfactory outcome to defective

Introduction: It is known that there is a close relationship between safety culture and safety climate and safety performance. However, this relationship is somewhat unclear, due to different attitudes toward the safety culture and safety climate and the use of various tools for their evaluation, and various measures of safety performance. Methods: In this study, articles published in English from 2005 to 2017 were selected from various databases. Then, certain journals in the field of safety were specifically searched using the keywords "safety and safety performance", "safety climate and safety performance", "safety culture and safety performance", "safety climate and safety outcome", "safety culture and safety outcome", "safety culture and injury and fatalities", and "safety climate and injuries and fatalities". Results: In the current paper, the role of safety culture and safety climate in improving safety performance was evaluated in 31 selected studies. It seems that reactive criteria and safety compliance is more consistent with safety climate and safety culture. Conclusions: The findings emphasized that increasing the level of safety climate and safety culture could be effective in reducing incidents and improving safety performance indicators.

The objective of this study is to contribute to the sustainable management of the Dasga palm trees forest by analyzing the phytodiversity and ecological parameters guiding the distribution of vegetation. The methods of phytosociological survey and multivariate analyzes were used. The vegetation surveys were carried out according to the sigmatistic approach of Braun-Blanquet (1932) and the multivariate analysis techniques used were those relating to factorial analysis of relaxed correspondence (DCA) and canonical correspondence analysis (CCA). A total of 144 species belonging to 100 genera and 50 families were recorded from 68 plots. This flora is dominated by a strong presence of therophytes and species with broad pantropical and palaeotropical distribution, thusshowing an arid and perturbed environment. The multivariate analyzes (DCA and CCA) sow among the variables tested; only the slope and the crops were determinants in the structuring of the vegetation by the Monte Carlo permutation test. These ecological variables would appear to be the major parameters of species distribution. Thus the understanding of the relationships between vegetation and ecological parameters can be used as a tool for sustainable management of this palm trees forest.

Quân sư phụ (君師父) is a concept of respectfulness derived from the Chinese Confucian concepts of sān gāng wǔ cháng (三綱五常, the Three Principles, and Five Constant Virtues) and sān cóng sì dé (三從四德, the Four Virtues Applied to the Three Male Figures) that is applied to Vietnamese Confucianism in regards to not only kings but also Chinese Emperors, as well as Chinese culture generally. In his famous literary work Vàng lửa (Golden Fire), Nguyễn Huy Thiệp revealed the Vietnamese attitude to Chinese civilization: “Our country could be characterized as nhược tiểu (弱小, small and weak). Vietnam was like a maiden forcibly deflowered by Chinese civilization. ‘She’ enjoyed it, but also came to hate it and feel disgraced by it” (Nguyễn 1988). This is a special sentiment or psychological complex of the Vietnamese in relation to Chinese civilization. The research findings are that the Nguyễn Huy Thiệp complex is the rationale behind which the symbol of the ancestral King Lạc Long Quân (貉龍君) was altered via Sino-Vietnamese motifs in order to develop Vietnamese Confucian thought. Keywords: Nguyễn Huy Thiệp complex; Lạc Long Quân; Sino-Vietnamese motifs

Isthmocele is a gynecological condition characterized by a disruption in the uterine scar, often associated with prior cesarean sections. This anatomical anomaly can be attributed to inadequate or insufficient healing of the uterine wall following a cesarean incision. It appears that isthmocele may impact a woman's quality of life as well as her reproductive capacity. The incidence of isthmocele can range from 20% to 70% in women who have undergone a cesarean section. This review aims to sum up the current knowledge about the effect of isthmocele on fertility and the possible therapeutic strategies to achieve pregnancy. However, currently, there is not sufficiently robust evidence to indicate the need for surgical correction in all asymptomatic patients seeking fertility. In cases where surgical correction of isthmocele is deemed necessary, it is advisable to evaluate residual myometrial thickness (RMT). For patients with RMT >2.5-3 mm, hysteroscopy appears to be the technique of choice. In cases where the residual tissue is lower, recourse to laparotomic, laparoscopic, or vaginal approaches is warranted.
