The Routledge Handbook of Classics and Cognitive Theory is an interdisciplinary volume that examines the application of cognitive theory to the study of the classical world, across several interrelated areas including linguistics, literary theory, social practices, performance, artificial intelligence and archaeology. The paper presented here is part of a research project "Innovate, collaborative, integrated design of products" financed by CNCSIS. Its aim is to offer a better organization of the design process throughout the realization of a platform as common base for the projects in their first stages. In the first part of the paper there are presented general notions regarding the design process, models of design process and in the second part are presented some conceptual design methods retained for the use of realizing a conceptual platform: Functional Analysis, SADT, TIPS, FMEA, QFD.

"Decolonising the Human examines the ongoing project of constituting ‘the human’ in light of the durability of coloniality and the persistence of multiple oppressions. The ‘human’ emerges as a deeply political category, historically constructed as a scarce existential resource. Once weaponised, it allows for the social, political and economic elevation of those who are centred within its magic circle, and the degradation, marginalisation and immiseration of those excluded as the different and inferior Other, the less than human. Speaking from Africa, a key site where the category of the human has been used throughout European modernity to control, exclude and deny equality of being, the contributors use decoloniality as a potent theoretical and philosophical tool, gesturing towards a liberated, pluriversal world where human difference will be recognised as a gift, not used to police the boundaries of the human. Η διδακτορική διατριβή επιχειρεί να εξερευνήσει την κριτική θεωρία της τεχνολογίας του Andrew Feenberg, με στόχο αφενός την κριτική ανασυγκρότηση των επιχειρημάτων του μέσω της παρουσίασης των φιλοσοφικών τους θεμελίων και αφετέρου την επανατοποθέτηση της θεωρίας του στο πλαίσιο των σύγχρονων ψηφιακών τεχνολογιών, ενώ ταυτόχρονα διατηρεί το πολιτικό της όραμα. Για την επίτευξη αυτού του στόχου, συνδυάζει την προσέγγιση του Feenberg στην τεχνολογία με την πολιτική παράδοση των ψηφιακών κοινών. Η έρευνα ξεκινά με μια ευρύτερη παρουσίαση της κριτικής θεωρίας της τεχνολογίας του Feenberg, δίνοντας έμφαση στην αντίθεσή του τόσο στην ουδετερότητα της τεχνολογίας όσο και στα επιχειρήματα που προβάλλονται από τους ουσιοκράτες. Στο πρώτο μέρος της έρευνας, παρουσιάζονται τα φιλοσοφικά θεμέλια της σκέψης του Feenberg, δηλαδή οι Marx, Weber, Lukács, Adorno, Horkheimer, Marcuse, Heidegger, Habermas, Honneth, Foucault, Latour και Simondon. Μέσα από την ανάλυση της επίδρασης αυτών των φιλοσόφων στη σκέψη του Feenberg, σκιαγραφούνται οι πιο σημαντικές έννοιες της προσέγγισής του. Στο δεύτερο μέρος, η έρευνα στρέφεται στη φιλοσοφία του Ψηφιακού και ειδικά του Διαδικτύου, παρουσιάζοντας όχι μόνο κάποιες προσεγγίσεις σε αυτό το μέσο, αλλά και την κριτική θεωρία του Διαδικτύου από τον Feenberg. Σε αυτό το μέρος της διατριβής, απαντάται ένα σημαντικό ερώτημα σχετικά με το Διαδίκτυο: Γιατί πρέπει να μελετά κανείς το Διαδίκτυο σήμερα; Στο τρίτο και τέταρτο μέρος, γίνεται η σύγκλιση μεταξύ της προσέγγισης του Feenberg στην τεχνολογία και της παράδοσης των ψηφιακών κοινών. Το τρίτο μέρος επιχειρεί να παρουσιάσει με ακρίβεια τι προσφέρει η παράδοση των κοινών στην πολιτική θεωρία, ενώ το τέταρτο μέρος συνδυάζει χαρακτηριστικά των ψηφιακών κοινών με έννοιες που προέρχονται από τη φιλοσοφία του Feenberg. Υποστηρίζεται ότι τόσο η παράδοση των ψηφιακών κοινών όσο και η σκέψη του Andrew Feenberg επωφελούνται από μια τέτοια σύγκλιση, καθώς η πρώτη αποκτά ισχυρά φιλοσοφικά και κριτικά τεχνολογικά θεμέλια, ενώ η δεύτερη αποκτά πρακτικά παραδείγματα για το πώς τα νέα τεχνουργήματα αλλάζουν τους τρόπους με τους οποίους οι άνθρωποι επικοινωνούν και δημιουργούν κοινότητες. Este escrito gira en torno a una copla popular que lleva al menos un siglo prediciendo el fin de un mundo campesino y reflexiona sobre cómo esta resuena con una imagen recurrente en veredas de San Miguel de Sema y de Ráquira (Boyacá): la de un rancho con una última habitante de quien se sospecha que pudo haber muerto de tristeza o de soledad. En el espacio de esta resonancia, teniendo en cuenta una larga historia de migración rural, explora cómo se constituye un mundo que se siente a punto de terminar. Se pregunta, finalmente, cómo responder al canto que a la vez proclama y posterga su final.
