INTERNATIONAL AGRICULTURAL, BIOLOGICAL AND LIFE SCIENCE CONFERENCE http://agbiol.org September 2-5, 2018 organized by Trakya University, Edirne, Turkey, This conference is a premier international science, technology and business forum focusing on Agriculture, Biology and Life Science. The technical sessions will highlight invited and volunteer oral presentations. The best presentations and posters for both for academic participants and also students will be selected and awarded in three categories as Agriculture, Biology and Life Science. The students are strongly encouraged to submit an application for the student poster award also. Three student posters will be selected to receive 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd place monetary awards and a certificate during the conference also. The conference will be green conference basis so as much as less papers will be used and with carrying out our environment. Abstract book will be published in as electronic book in flash memory sticks which will be distributed during the conference. On the other, poster will be prepared electronically and submit via web page and will be exhibited in electronic poster panels. The attendees will have ample opportunities for learning, reconnecting, engaging and networking with colleagues in academia and industry and meet with exhibitors.

E AGBIOL CONFERENCE 2020, 2020

The AGBIOL 2020 e-conference was organized by Trakya University, Edirne, Turkey focusing on Agriculture, Biology and Life Sciences topics, on September 1-3, 2020. The virtual event was held in TU Balkan Congress Center in Edirne, Turkey. The program was included oral talks by invited prominent scientists as well selected topics from the submitted abstracts.

Probiotics are one of the products that are beneficial for livestock. Giving probiotics to livestock can improve their metabolic processes. Trichoderma is one of the microbiology that has antagonistic properties, namely suppressing the presence of other microbiology (pathogens). Therefore the researchers wanted to know the effect of giving molasses to the growth of Trichoderma sp in probiotics. This study aims to determine the effect of adding molasses to the growth of Trichoderma sp. in making probiotics using rice bran media. This study used a completely randomized design method (CRD) using four treatments and six replications. The treatment used is P0 = Rice Bran + 1% Trichoderma sp., P1 = Rice Bran + 1% Trichoderma sp. + 1% Molasses, P2 = Rice Bran + 1% Trichoderma sp. + 3% Molasses, P3 = Rice Bran + 1% Trichoderma sp. + 5% Molasses. Giving Molasses in the manufacture of probiotics on rice bran media had a significant effect (P> 0.05) on the growth of Trichoderma sp. but did not provide a significant difference in the decrease in pH (P <0.05). with the best results on P2 with 5.22 x 1010/g media spores

This abstract book includes all the abstracts of the papers presented at the 6th Annual International Conference on Agriculture, 15-18 July 2013, organized by the Athens Institute for Education and Research. In total there were 53 papers and 64 presenters, coming from 29 different countries (Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Korea, Latvia, Lebanon, Mexico, New Zealand, Pakistan, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, UK, USA). The conference was organized into 15 sessions that included areas such as Genetics & Animal Production, Water & Soil, Land Use & Agricultural Policy, Ecology etc As it is the publication policy of the Institute, the papers presented in this conference will be considered for publication in one of the books of ATINER.

Fungi grow on diverse habitats in nature and are cosmopolitan in distribution requiring several specific elements for growth and reproduction. In laboratory these are isolated on specific culture medium for cultivation, preservation, microscopical examination and biochemical and physiological characterization. A wide range of media are used for isolation of different groups of fungi that influence the vegetative growth and colony morphology, pigmentation and sporulation depending upon the composition of specific culture medium, pH, temperature, light, water availability and surrounding atmospheric gas mixture. However, the requirements for fungal growth are generally less stringent than for the sporulation. Microorganisms require carbon, nitrogen, minerals, sometimes growth factors, water and oxygen if aerobic, as elements for cell biomass, energy, biosynthesis and cell maintenance. The maximum production of some metabolites requires the incorporation of specific inhibitors in the medium either to minimize formation of metabolic intermediaries or to prevent further metabolism of the desired product. The prime ingredients of the media are water, energy sources, sources for carbon, nitrogen and minerals, chelators, growth factors, buffers, precursors and inhibitors. The present review was focused on the prevalence of fungi in an open environment and production of low cost culture medium fungal cultivation using Agroindustrial wastes.
