INTRODUCTION Sports entertainment industry blended with information technology is expanding its wings across globe. Today Olympic Games organization has estimated to reach business volume of approximately USD $ 7 Billion. Involvement of human society is increasing in sports, fitness and associated activities,day by day thus making sports fitness business reaching upto 650$ Billion by end of this decade. As involvement of human society is increasing competition of athletes is scaling new heights. They need more advance technologies and equipment‟s to get trained harder and perform better in their respective games. All players are using technology and data for sports performance augmentation and injury corrosion. With the support of new and advance technologies sports managers & coaches are using new and innovative techniques to train athletes in more scientific manner. Technology and sports in current scenario has become counter part of each other. Performance of athlete in sports is described by the energy produce by him during performance and released into the environment. The energy must be exclusively produce by the athlete, and must not come from any external force. Sports technologies are finding measures to reduce energy leaks and evolve ways to utilize them in effective and efficient manner. Solutions are readily at hand. For example, sport technology can develops swimsuits that left the body slightly out of the water, thereby reducing water resistance and increasing air drag or perform wind turner test of skiers to find way to optimize the tucked racing position. Another Technology example is in Sports shoes fabrication that they must meet a range of requirements, such as shock attenuation, stability (motion control), flexibility, grip, fit, lightness in weight and durability. Such innovation and implementation of technology engineering are enhancing performance of athletes. Therefore using technology athletes are able to improve performance on the basis of the data collected through various wearable electronic gadgets and help them in detecting injuries at early stage that guide them to mitigate them using proper techniques and medical help. II. ICT & SPORTS As far back as the primary Olympic Games was held at Olympia, Greece in 776 BC, sports as a field has collected a solid convention, loaded up with brilliance and bravery. It is the understanding and application of the usage of specifieddigital gadgets and the modern-day present day technologies to perform tasks extra successfully. Fitness and sports industry is one of the fastest growing industry in current scenario. With the help of Information Communication Technology sports industry is growing at its maximum pace. With the innovation in communication technology sports championship could be broadcasted in any part of the globe. With increasing use of digital devices communication through Internet of Things sports industry is accessible to common people living in any part of globe. So sport fitness is not limited to championship only but it has equally important to involve ICT in promotion and awareness strategy of events. With the dominating involvement of ICT in sports marketing, accessories, coaching mechanism, infrastructure development, stadium management and wearable devices industry is directly associated with each other. Thus ICT is bridging gap between spectator and athletes. Application of Ict in Sports Administration: to deliver archives/exercise plans, to change over scores (Excel, Word, etc...). The executives: this includes everything from order to class association and time the board Feedback: video, P.C., pulse screen. Cure: pulse screen, instructive programming. TECHNOLOGY& SPORTS Technology has made athletes a super human and with daily new innovation in sports field new records are being created every day. Performance of players in every sport is enhanced by innovation of sporting equipment and scientific data analysis at spots laboratories by research scholars and scientists. Using this data analytics captured by wearable gadgets installed on the body of athletes and sports equipment performance augmentation chart is prepared by coaches and managers. This also help in developing new and innovative Sports gear such as clothing and footwear that are user-friendly and include valuable properties such as strength, flexibility, density, thickness, durability, toughness, resistance to moisture and more importantly cost. Footwear is generally considered more for comfort and injury avoidance rather than performance enhancement. Whereas clothing such as the full body suits used in cycling, swimming, ice hockey, rugby are often claimed to rationalize the competitor‟s performance times where winning or losing the event is hundredths of a second. Information technology has provided boom to improve the standard of Sports athletes and level of coaching has raised by using data analytics in easy and useful manner for specific sport event. V. SPORTS FOR SUSTAINABLE PEACE AND DEVELOPMENT United Nations has declared Sustainable Development Goal agenda 2030 for the betterment of human society. United Nations is committed to make our earth a better place to live with healthy, disciplined fit citizens irrespective of cast, creed, color, religion, and continent. A sport is an important tool that provides podium to learn skills such leadership, discipline and self-reliance, cooperation, teamwork, toleranceand respect of team members. With all such qualities a citizen of globe will contribute in sustainable development as per United Nations objective. One of the major learning sports activity provides common citizen is how success and defeat has to be considered in once life. Victory and Defeat are counter part of same coin of life thus sports activity prepares a person to manage victory and accept defeat with same zeal to move ahead in life. With these positive aspects of sports involvement in daily life of human being sports and fitness activities become powerful tool to achieve objectives of United Nations. As a person is involved in sporting activity positive energy is utilized in constructive development. Sports not only make person physically fit it also develops mental fitness to fight against all odd situations coming in life. Sporting event brings celebrations in life of human being, by organizing championships;people get involved in these activities and celebrate these events. Thus social bonding of society also gets strengthen when people cheer their favorite teams and players. Such activities and social gathering helps people come together and share their feeling through sporting activity and become powerful tool to bring peace and prosperity in society. United Nations Sustainable Development Goal number: 3 “Health and Well Being” advocates importance of healthy body and mind that prevents disease. However sport alone, cannot ensure peace or solve complex social problems. Instead, sport should be positioned as a highly effective tool in a broader toolkit of development practices, and should be applied in a holistic and integrated manner with other interventions and programs to achieve optimal results. DECISION MAKING PROSPECT IN SPORTS Technology has made sporting event more complex as athletes are getting better and better training, that has increased the performance level in an event. Margin between winner and runner is decreasing from second to millisecond to nanosecond. For organizers and officials of sporting event it is becoming very difficult to judge the correct decision with necked eyes, Technology has taken this burden of taking fair decision which satisfy all the stakeholders of event including players, teams, officials, organizers. CONCLUSION Technology use in sporting event makes better information available to the coach‟s athletes and spectators, and this serves the sport on many different levels; it enables better match analysis, performance ranking, player selection, sports statistics and predictions and in general makes the more interesting. It helps to avoid mistake in organization and administration of various sports and games at world level. Information Technology in Sports has established scientific discipline, Research activities, improve Learning and coaching, Bio-mechanical analysis and field research have evolved. Recent developments in sporting technologies have created a variety of products aimed at improving and increasing athletic performance. Broadcasting technology has created sports entertainment industry to reach a record high of 650$ Billion industry and is even growing at faster speed to reach new heights in coming years. Technology has increased the life of players by improving endurance and reducing injuries in and out of sports arena. Another remarkable feature of sporting event is supporting United Nations agenda of peace building across the globe by involvement of people in sporting event globally and strengthening bonding of social and cultural apart people on a common podium of sporting event like Olympics and other world championships.
