what is infinite? what is nothing? Can they exist? I don’t think they are quantities or even qualities. They are not subject of physics, mathematics or philosophy. But of human experience, feelings. They are representations of unspeakable, of what cannot be explained. They are rare experiences of human. Experiences which distort assumed reality. Concepts which stand at the edge of knowledge, they become absurdity which tickle and insult reason. they dissolve boundaries.

This article compares the physical meaning of infinity with the spiritual meaning. It notes that infinity remains somewhat of a mystery in a physical world in which our comprehension is largely framed around the concept of boundaries. But our sense of the scope and nature of our understanding of finiteness has been gradually expanding with the development of human civilization, and is now expanding at an even greater rate than ever before, both at the micro level and the macro level. The article suggests that if we are ever to understand infinity, we have to move outside the dimensions of this physical universe as we perceive it, moving to that other and higher reality, to the metaphysical, or, as some would describe it, the spiritual. It has long been thought that the spiritual realm was the realm of the infinite, just as the material world was thought to be the world of the finite. Viewed in this light, there is no difficulty for many in associating the concept of infinity with th...
The human being meets the idea of infinity very early, still a child, when he realises that he can go on counting using natural numbers until he can no longer. The idea of infinity attracts and rejects, sometimes becomes an object of desire and sometimes of study and systematic study. It is the testimony that intellect, even starting from experience, can overcome limits and boundaries, yet it’s easier to list what infinity is not, but a real definition can be far more elusive. Philosophical approaches pose questions about the concept of infinity and are linked to other parts of the philosophical discourse such as ontology and epistemology and other important aspects of philosophy of mathematics. How, for example, do we represent infinite objects by finite means and how are infinite objects represented in the human mind.

This essay reflects on the presence of zero in some works of contemporary art through considerations about the artistic process itself and works by artists such as Rivane Neuenschwander and Cildo Meireles, investigating the paradoxical power of zero as a sign capable of articulating the ideas of emptiness and infinite.
The concept of infinity brings together the ideas in science and spirituality. It posits the possibility of the synthesis of matter and spirit; the empirical enquiry that rests basically on observation, experimentation, evidence, validation and the predictability of a theory, and the spiritual quest that relies not only on observation and theorization but mainly on personal experiential realization of the truth presented as theoretical input. From methodological point of view empirical and spiritual enquiries are irreconcilable as science rejects everything that falls outside the domain of observational and experimental prediction as "metaphysics" while spiritual quest, taking into consideration the cosmo-evolutionary process, at the same time doesn't reject what falls beyond the observational purview of man, the subjective experience of reality which is generally extremely subtle. But current research in science, especially in experimental physics, that is basically founded on the general theory of relativity expounded by Albert Einstein and the findings based on theory of quantum mechanics, and in research in astronomy that has made great advances after the discovery of black holes, has shown that science too has reached the state where, owing to the unavoidable element of randomness in science introduced by quantum mechanics, at least 'a touch of metaphysics' is unavoidable in explaining the laws governing the structure and functioning of the universe (at least in the participatory, anthropic view of the universe) i . So, it wouldn't be out of place to say that specially now there is a strong possibility to weave the ideas expressed in the domain of spirituality and in the field of scientific research in a synthetic whole, expounding the ultimate mystery of the universe in the form of a synthesis of matter and spirit.
The man stopped gazing at the stars and turned his head to his wife sitting beside him. "My dear, you're not real," he said. His wife wasn't surprised; she was used to her husband's strange deductions. Raising her eyebrows, she asked, "Am I too beautiful to be real?" It was a warm summer evening, and the couple was sitting on their balcony. The man replied, "You are beautiful, but that's not what I meant. You cannot exist physically. You're nothing more than an image I created in my mind."

Mathematics is full of paradoxes and limitations. As this work will demonstrate, many of such problems arise from a general misunderstanding of how to properly use infinity. In particular, we’ll argue that set theory, which relies heavily on Georg Cantor’s ideas, is simply inconsistent with Calculus — and, to remedy this situation, we’ll develop our own theory of infinity. To discuss the properties of an infinite set, mathematicians currently rely on two kinds of numbers [8]. They use the cardinals to count how many objects there are in a set, with the landmark result that N’s cardinality is smaller than R’s. In all cases, however, an infinite quantity is believed to remain unchanged after any arithmetical operation, and they thus commonly use
