Dr Mary Murdoch (1864-1916): A Woman Doctor of Hull

Katharine Cockin
Abstract
In this invited blog post for the AHRC Remember Me Project, I outline the importance of Dr Mary Murdoch (1864-1916), the first woman to practise medicine in Hull. She was also an active campaigner for women's suffrage and understood the relevance of exercise, diet and accommodation for good health.
