In the digital economy, technopreneurs play a crucial role in creating and promoting new Information Communication Technologies (ICT) goods and services to the local and overseas markets to fulfill the clients demand. However, there are still many newly established IT technopreneurs that found themselves either failed right at the start-up or during the maturity of the businesses. These could be due to either both the internal or external factors. The literature review covers empirical studies on the factors affecting technopreneurship. For the review, meta-analysis is employed for locating, selecting, assessing and combining information relevant to factors underpinning technopreneurship. The study sheds light on the factors, issues and challenges related to technopreneurship environment.

Technopreneurs are skilled in applied creativity, succeed in response to challenge, and look for unconventional solutions. They experience challenges, create visions for solutions, build stories that explain their visions, and then act to be part of the solution.

Technopreneurs distinguishes themselves through their ability to accumulate and manage knowledge, as well as their ability to mobilized resources to achieve a specified business or social goal. The Technopreneur is a bold, imaginative deviator from established business methods and practices who constantly seeks the opportunity to commercialize new products, technologies, processes, and arrangements. Information Technology (IT) technopreneurships in Malaysia have contributed to the nation's economy. The entrepreneur creates, promotes and markets new Information Communication Technologies (ICT) products and services to both markets local and abroad to fulfill the demand from customers. It will help the country to enhance its economic and lead to produce more job opportunities for people. However, there are still many newly established IT technopreneurs that found themselves either failed right at the start-up or during the maturity of the businesses. These could be due to either both the internal or external factors, or even a combination of both factors. This paper will further discussed the effect of the both factors and then later, it will proposed a research framework for IT technopreneurships failure. The researcher proposed the factors based on studies of related papers and journals. There are several factors that affect the success of the Malaysian IT technopreuneurship including internal factors and external factors. Thus, there is a need to manage both factors in balance so as to ensure IT technopreneur's success.

Nowadays socio-technopreneurship as emerging trend among start-ups. The Covid-19 pandemic could be a factor in increasing the total number of socio-technopreneurs in Indonesia. The qualitative method was applied in this study. The descriptive analysis research method was used to collect data, conduct interviews with founder, CEO and business manager, and gather evidence. The study's objectives are to define the character of a socio-technopreneur and to analyze the obstacles and challenges that socio-technopreneurs face in Indonesia. The results show the character of a socio-technopreneur as (1) collaborative, (2) concerned with a social mission, (3) have creative and innovative ideas, (4) confident, (5) dare to take risks and challenges, (6) have a leadership spirit, (7) optimism, and (8) adopt with digital/technology. Some tenants, who are MSMEs or farmers, have difficulties or are unfamiliar with the system or procedure, even after it has been demonstrated to them. Second, the use of technology or digital marketing by socio-technopreneurs creates opportunities for a larger market. In the middle of today's challenges, there are several opportunities for people to improve their wealth by becoming entrepreneurs who shift into socio-technopreneurs. Socio-technopreneurship is a critical aspect in the growth of the Indonesian economy, particularly the local economy. The growth of socio-technopreneurship based on social mission and technology adoption can accelerate the development of technological entrepreneurship, reduce social issues, create new jobs, contribute to technology transfer and innovation, and strengthen national economic growth.
