Civil aviation has unique characteristics compared with other industries: it is not only wide-ranging but also an instrumental force of globalization. The term civil aviation refers to the operation of any civil aircraft and related activities for the purpose of transportation by air. In other words, civil aviation covers all aviation activities except military operations. Although generally the design, development and production of a civil aircraft is considered separately as in aerospace industry, in a broader sense civil aviation and the operation of a civil aircraft refers to the design, development, production, and use of aircraft and all related activities and facilities for serving some kind of transportation activities by air. Unlike many other fields that grow domestically first and then expand to other countries, the civil aviation industry has had an international character from its beginning. This verity is partly a result of the uniqueness of air transportation. Travel through air has naturally a beyond-border character and needs some legal requirements between countries. In addition, safe and secure air navigation and air transportation between countries requires standardized special equipment, facilities and operational procedures. Another reason for the international characteristic of civil aviation is the industry's massive need for financial investment. Generally, the domestic markets of individual countries are not strong enough to finance the needed investments. History Civil aviation and globalization move in tandem. That means civil aviation has always fostered

The International Civil Aviation Organization was founded in Chicago on 7 December 1944 at the end of a conference of 54 states. The United States government initiated this conference after consultations with the Allied Nations. The ICAO was set up as a means to secure international co-operation in order to obtain the highest possible degree of uniformity in regulations and standards, procedures and organisation regarding civil aviation matters. At the same time the International Services Transit Agreement and the International Air Transport Agreement were signed. 1 ICAO's aims and objectives, as stated in the Chicago Convention, are to foster the planning and development of international air transport so as to ensure the safe and orderly growth of international civil aviation throughout the world; encourage the arts of aircraft design and operation for peaceful purposes; encourage the development of airways, airports, and air navigation facilities for international civil aviation; meet the needs of the peoples of the world for safe, regular, efficient, and economical air transport; prevent economic waste caused by unreasonable competition; ensure that the rights of contracting states are fully respected and that every contracting state has a fair opportunity to operate international airlines; avoid discrimination between contracting states; promote safety of flight in international air navigation; and promote generally the development of all aspects of international civil aeronautics. 2 ICAO has sharpened its focus in how it assists its 190 Member States to strive for the new benchmarks of 21st century civil aviation: optimum safety and security; the continued progressive, worldwide liberalization of air transport; a globally interoperable, harmonized and seamless air traffic management system; maximum compatibility between the safe and orderly development of civil aviation and the quality of the environment; and further development of a unified global legal framework. Efficient management of aircraft operations helps reduce delays and optimize routing and, consequently, fuel burn and associated emissions.

In the era of globalization and the permanent travel of people between faraway regions of the world, air transport is one of the most important means of transport. Today it is also one of the most secure transport modest possibilities. This idea stands at the beginning of the article subject. This work aims to present the aviation infrastructure of Mexico and to analyze how it has changed over the years. In this contribution, on the example of Mexico country, a statistical analysis of characteristic parameters determining the development of aviation infrastructure was performed. A statistical analysis of selected aspects may enable us to reveal the situation related to air transport in North America and the predictions might visualize expectations in the following years. The factors that determine the development of infrastructure in this country are also presented. The most important elements of the aviation infrastructure, such as airports, are described. They were divided in term...

The principles of civil aviation safety and efficiency in conditions of air transportation market globalization are considered. The paper paid special attention to the civil aviation threats and risks in the context of globalization processes. The paper deals with problems of changes of multilateral and bilateral regulations philosophy, the liberalization of airlines designation, national ownership and control provisions, the development of airline alliances, code-sharing agreements and franchising, the development of low-cost carriers operations, the outsourcing of ground handling, aircraft repair and maintenance, the globalization and commercialization of airports and air navigation service providers, the significant growth of air cargo and logistics transportations.
The interdependence between air transport and the economic sector can be examined from two directions. Several theoretical and regional studies were published on the economic impact of aviation, which is the fastest growing but the most environmentally harmful among all of the transport subsections. However, out of the many factors that influence the development level / performance of aviation, only the thematization and examination of the relationship with the GDP per capita was carried out for a narrower group of countries. Compared to the past, the author methodologically exceeded previous studies in many respects, since the correlation calculations were carried out on168 countries on 8 hypothetical acting factors and other specific indicators instead of one factor. Furthermore (breaking with the earlier practice), the indicator of passenger traffic per inhabitant was produced not from the data of official statistics (such as ICAO and IATA), which is only related to airlines registered in the given country, but from the complete national airport traffic data that was painstakingly generated by the author. In addition to the global scale, the evaluation of correlation coefficients from a geographical point of view was done according to quantitative categories of hypothetical acting factors and at the same time for every country in the dataset. To illustrate the vast differences among the aviation (infrastructure / traffic) specific indicators, linear scale charts and graphs were made, while the correlation of indicators aggregated by continents was visualized with a logarithmic scaling.

This paper assays how the effect of USA’s both export volume and GDP have on civil aviation by implementing econometrical models such as linear regression and Johansen Co-integration tests in order to realize the dimension of its influence. The impact of both export volume and GDP on civil aviation have analyzed between the years 1980 and 2012 in order to make it a parametrical test by using E-Views Programme. According to Johansen cointegration test there is a long term relationship between the variables in between 1980-2012.Furthermore, It has been founded that USA’s export volume and GDP have crucial influence on civil aviation according to the E-Views programme results within the periods of 1980-2012. influence.
