Background & Objective: Most experts of Iranian traditional medicine believe that it is absolutely necessary and inevitable to update the field to utilize evidence in education of Iranian traditional medicine students and treatment of its patients. In this regard, this study attempted to evaluate utilization of evidence-based medicine (EBM) in the curriculum of School of Iranian Traditional Medicine. Methods: In this qualitative study, semi-structured, individual, and face-to-face interviews were done to collect Iranian traditional medicine expert’s point of views in regard to EBM. Content analysis was done to analyze the data. Results: The study findings were classified in two major categories including EBM in the curriculum of Iranian traditional medicine, and EBM application in Iranian School of Traditional Medicine. The management of most clinics and other outpatient centers are by clinicians. However, most clinicians do not educate any management courses and are not familiar with this field of science. This study aimed to study and describes training needs and priorities related to medical office management for clinicians. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study. All physicians affiliated to Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (ACECR) with experiences of running a medical office in Tehran were invited to took part in the study. The data were collected using a self-designed questionnaire. Descriptive statistics and Friedman test were applied to analyze the data. Results: In all 37 physicians participated in the study. The general needs of medical office management categorized to 27 topics and 7 headlines: financial management, human resources management, medical risk management, non-medical risk management, process management, evaluation and informatics. Respondents were most aware on medical risk management and the least was on informatics. The most important educational needs and priorities for clinicians were 'Medical office informatics', 'human resources management', 'financial management' and 'evaluation'. Conclusion: The study results showed that physicians with experiences of medical office management identified that they need courses on management. Indeed priorties could be indentified with a study bigger sample size and better design.

Background and Aim: One of the essential methods of evaluating academic libraries’ mobile websites is the usability analysis method; websites’ usability means their ease and simplicity of use. This study aims to evaluate the usability of the mobile website of the libraries of top medical universities in Iran. This study aims to evaluate the usability of mobile websites of the libraries of top Iranian universities of medical sciences. Materials and Methods: This study was done by the descriptive-survey method. The study’s statistical population includes mobile websites of the libraries of the top 50 universities of medical sciences in Iran, which have gained the highest rank in universities’ webometrics ranking in January 2019. The tool used in this study was a checklist. Data analysis was performed by descriptive and analytical statistical methods and SPSS software. Results: The data analysis showed that in terms of usability of the mobile websites of university libraries, Kerman, Birjand, and Tehran universities of medical sciences were in the first to third ranks with 89.23%, 84.62%, and 81.54%, respectively. Neishabour, Gonabad, and Semnan universities of medical sciences were the last ranks with 40%, 43.08%, and 44.62%., respectively. The evaluation of the research components showed that “system visibility status,” “assisting the user in identifying, detecting and compensating for errors,” and “guidance and documentation” were in the best situation, and components of “error prevention,” “flexibility and system efficiency,” and “User control and freedom” were in their worst condition. Conclusion: Given the increasing influence and popularity of smart cell phones in the professional life of academics, it is necessary for administrators and designers of mobile websites of academic libraries to consider the applicability and effectiveness of mobile websites of the research community, taking into account the practical findings of the present study.

Background and purpose: Healthy lifestyle is an important factor in prevention of chronic diseases. The health of medical students is highly influential due to their fundamental role in every health system. In this study, the health-promoting lifestyle and its determinants were evaluated in medical, dental, and pharmacy students. Materials and methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in 650 students using stratified sampling in Kerman, Iran 2016. The health-promoting lifestyle profile (HPLP-II) was used and data was analyzed applying univariate and multivariate linear regression analysis in SPSS.
