This article presents two cases from a collaborative study among Tibetan monastic populations in India on the postdeath meditative state called tukdam (thugs dam). Entered by advanced Tibetan Buddhist practitioners through a variety of different practices, this state provides an ontological frame that is investigated by two distinct intellectual traditions-the Tibetan Buddhist and medical tradition on one hand and the Euroamerican biomedical and scientific tradition on the other-using their respective means of inquiry. Through the investigation, the traditionsenact two paradigms of the body at the time of death alongside attendant conceptualizations of what constitutes life itself. This work examines when epistemologies of these two traditions might converge, under what ontological contexts, and through which correlated indicators of evidence. In doing so, this work explores how these two intellectual traditions might answer how the time course and characteristics of physiological changes during the postmortem period might exhibit variation across individuals. Centrally, this piece presents an epistemologicalinquiry delineating the types of valid evidence that constitute exceptional processes post-clinical death and their potential ontological implications.

This paper contains the preliminary results of the research by the Polish Moroccan mission Tingitana Frontier Project (TFP), which has been working in the Kingdom of Morocco since 2018. The mission is to examine the border defense systems of Mauretania Tingitana and in particular the Roman observation towers. The cooperation is conducted under an agreement signed between the University of Warsaw and the Institut National des Sciences de l‘Archéologie et du Patrimoine in Rabat. In 2021, the Polish Moroccan team began the first season of excavations under the leadership of Aomar Akerraz, Radosław Karasiewicz-Szczypiorski and Maciej Czapski. This research aims to determine the influence of product quality, product features, product design and product trust variables on purchase decisions from Wuling Motors products. Therefore, it would increase the amount of production. Through primary data gathered from respondents' questionnaires. This research was conducted throughout Indonesia with a total of 397 respondents. The sampling in this research used the Slovin formula method by margin of 5% errors. The analytical tool currently uses regression analysis. To test these research hypothesis by the T-test and F-test and descriptive analysis. The research outcomes from this research indicated that the product quality, product features, product design and product trust significantly affects purchasing decisions. But simultaneously, these four variables could describe their relations to purchasing decisions with an R-square value of 62.8%. This research was expected that Wuling motors manufacturers could improve its product quality, product features, product design and product trust, so that purchasing decisions would increase.

Zum sog. Genderstern sind sowohl ablehnende als auch verteidigende Artikel erschienen, die den Eindruck entstehen lassen, die verteidigende Position sei eine linke, progressive und geschlechtergerechte, die ablehnende hingegen eine rechte, rückwärtsgewandte und sexistisch-patriarchalische. Mittlerweile haben zum Glück viele Linke erkannt, dass eine solche Bewertung der Komplexität dieser Thematik nicht gerecht wird, und es dürfte durchaus auch Argumente aus einer linken Perspektive geben, die eine differenzierte, wenn nicht sogar kritische Beurteilung des Gendersterns sowie vergleichbarer vermeintlich gendergerechter Schreibweisen nahelegen. Zwölf wichtige Argumente dazu werden nachfolgend aufgeführt.

We propose a novel approach to the problem of inverse kinematics for possibly redundant planar manipulators. We show that, by considering the joints as point masses in a fictitious gravity field, and by adding proper constraints to take into account the length of the links, the kinematic inversion may be cast as a convex programming problem. Convex constraints in the decision variables (in particular, linear constraints in the workspace) are easily managed with the proposed approach. We also show how to exploit the idea for avoiding obstacles while tracking a reference end-effector trajec-tory and discuss how to extend the results to some kinds of non-planar manipulators. Simulation results are reported, showing the effectiveness of the approach.

Επιχειρείται μια αναλυτική και κριτική προσέγγιση των αποτελεσμάτων της "αξιολόγησης PISA2015" για την Ελλάδα, σε ό,τι αφορά στα Μαθηματικά. Είχαμε την ευκαιρία, υπό συνθήκες πρέπουσας εμπιστευτικότητας, να διατρέξουμε, εκτός από δημόσια κοινοποιημένα κείμενα γενικής και ειδικής στόχευσης του ΟΟΣΑ/PISA, και το σύνολο των θεμάτων, καθώς και τυχαίο δείγμα γραπτών Ελλήνων μαθητών και μαθητριών. Επιδιώχθηκε η κριτική ανάγνωση, αποτίμηση και καταγραφή στοιχείων που θα συμβάλλουν σε όποια επιδίωξη συμπερίληψης συμπερασμάτων από τον PISA σε μελλοντικές διεργασίες εκπόνησης Προγραμμάτων Σπουδών, αλλά και - κυρίως - συμφωνίας επί και καταγραφής στόχων για την Μαθηματική μας Εκπαίδευση, ως μέρος μιας συνολικής "παιδευτικής περιοχής με αξιόλογα περιεχόμενα για κάθε πολίτη"... Εδώ κοινοποιείται το "μη εμπιστευτικό" μέρος της έρευνας. Η συνολική έρευνα, με την δέουσα εμπιστευτικότητα, έχει τεθεί στην διάθεση των αρμόδιων φορέων του Ελληνικού κράτους.
