Abstract
Abstract—The aim of this letter is to analyze a modulation tech- nique called,-QAM in terms of bit error rate (BER). The performance of the,-QAM is compared,to the traditional M-QAM modulation scheme, taking into account the same spec- tral efficiency, where and are related by and . Performance curves obtained by the theo- retical model and by computer simulation are shown.
