Process thinking has expanded in recent years mainly due to the need for improved quality of operations. As a result of this, there is a growing need for business modelling and analysis techniques that provide justification for understanding and analysis of the organisational environment with the aim of developing appropriate solutions for redesign. There is a lack of systematic approach that can lead a process redesigner through a series of steps for the achievement of process redesign. Most of the existing methodologies are based either on real life experience with little attention on the modelling and analysis of the business environment or vice versa. In this paper we present a manufacturing company case study describing a specific framework for business modelling and analysis.
