“One Tree Hill” and “Chicago P.D.” star Sophia Bush is about to put on some scrubs.
Bush has landed a recurring role on “Grey’s Anatomy,” joining the ABC medical drama’s 21st season as Dr. Cass Beckman, a trauma surgeon described as “amiable, fun and a little messy around the edges.”
She will make her “Grey’s” debut on the sixth episode of the season, which airs Nov. 7 on ABC.
Bush is no stranger to playing a doctor. In 2022, she produced and starred in the CBS medical drama “Good Sam,” playing the role of Dr. Sam Griffith, a cardiac fellow and interim hospital chief. Her credits also include the medical center-set “Chicago Med” and “Nip/Tuck.”
The actor also held roles in “Love, Victor,” “Partners” and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” and on the film side her credits include “The Narrows,” “Incredibles 2” and “False Positive.”
