Though it may seem like nothing because there are so many animals in the world, no one, not even a human, would want to be displayed for entertainment against their will. This experience dictated the way I felt for humans as a species and the lack of humanity that is shown. There are those who are powerful, have money and control others; then there are those less fortunate with only a small claim for what they own and the occupations they can have. In H.G. Wells' novella, The Time Machine, the society that the Time Traveller lives in, the Victorian Age, is classified under the Haves and Have Nots. As he continues onto the future into the Sphinx Era, the classifications are similar as now the Eloi are the Haves of that society and the Morlocks are the Have Nots. In the final future that the Time Traveller visits, he sees how man has devolved and now it is about the people versus the world. Wells'
