Kem Royale
Ms. Kem Royale is a retired Civil Rights Activist whose real world experience in community engagement, and
leadership has lent itself to the art of storytelling.
Ms. Royale is a visionary most noted for having an intuitive grasp of the potential powers of fads, key trends,
and social drifts. Kem excels in the areas of research and strategy development, and creative solutions. She is a Thought-Leader and a Developer of groundbreaking concepts and ideas about the role that augmented realty technology (AR) can have in transforming the Film Industry, in today's 24/7 connected world.
Ms. Royale is a S.C. Johnson Wingspread Fellow. Kem was a two-time participant in think-tank sessions at the
Frank Lloyd Right Wingspread Conference Complex in Racine, Wisconsin.
Ms. Royale is an alumni of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, phi eta sigma National Honor Society
inductee. With an educational policy and communities studies degree in hand, Kem became a Civil Rights
Activist and civic volunteer, championing social justice causes. She is among a select group of highly successful
and respected (early 2000s era) Activist in the city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
She has been a featured speaker and panelist at some of America's most prestigious universities:
Schools of Law at: Marquette University, University of Minnesota-Minneapolis, Penn State University, Yale
University; In addition to engagements before the mid-west region chapters of the National Organization of Black
Law Enforcement Officers, National Lawyer's Guild, National Association for the Advancement of Colored
People, National Student Associations, and the American Civil Liberties Union.
Kem debuted on the national stage (August, 2008) at “Redeem The Dream March On Washington Against Police
Brutality” where she stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial sharing her researched statistics and empirical
data, with citizens who traveled to the nation's capital to rally and commemorate the (August, 1963) “March On
Washington”.
