(watermelon), Cucumis melo L.(muskmelon), Cucumis sativus L. (Cucumber), Citrullus colocynthis Schrad (Bitter apple), and Cucurbita pepo L.( Pumpkin) belong to family Cucurbiteacea found in Sindh Pakistan, all these medicinal plants (seeds) traditionally used in Pakistan for treatment of various ailments. Metal determined by using atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS). The Cucurbitaceae plants contain vast potential to be used against jaundice and hepatitis. The normal development of plants, animals and human being depends on the appropriate phase of metals

Quantitative amount was carry out by the dye binding method of Bradford which revealed wide variations in terms of their concentrations and total yields. As expected, albumin fraction was found to be the highest in all plant seeds of family Fabaceae where, P. dulci Benth contains the highest and T. indica L. the lowest (80% and 23%) respectively. Globulin with second dominant protein fra...

Moreover, some essential and toxic elements (e.g. As, Cu, Cd, Fe, K, Mg, Na, Pb & Zn) were also measured in different concentrations (Zn & K being the highest (26.89 mg/kg) and Pb (0.19mg/kg) & As (17.6µg/kg) were the lowest in concentrations) justifying its medicinal applications. Total protein contents analyzed in different parts of P. dulce was highest in seeds ranging from 50.3-67.1%, stems 15.7%, roots 10.6%, leaves 13.7%, flowers 14.8%, and in fruits 10.50% as established by kjeldhal method. P.dulce plant was found to be a rich source of proteins, fatty acids and essential elements particularly seeds and can be exploited for human and animal consumptions.

As expected, albumin fraction was found to be the highest in all plant seeds of family Fabaceae where, P. dulci Benth contains the highest and T. indica L. the lowest (80% and 23%) respectively. Globulin with second dominant protein fraction may also vary from 3% (A. concinna) to 43% (T. foenum-graecam). Likewise, prolamin was found to be significantly higher in A. concinna (65%), C. fistula (37%) and P. corylifolia L (33%) while, the lowest of around 10% in T. foenum-graecam. On the other hand, a consistent pattern of 2 to 18% of glutelin concentrations were observed in all plants (with exception of T. indica L having 31%). Comparative SEC FPLC profiles of the four major seed storage proteins extracted from P.dulci Benth nicely complement our work and provided a single step strategy for the purification of complex, multimeric and high molecular mass seed storage proteins from plant for wide biotechnological applications.

Protocol of ISI-24-1-e, was under of etermination of total nitrogen, which was calculated using a nitrogen conversion factor of 6.25. Therefore, the main object of the present investigation was result of different levels of total protein contents present in these medicinal plants belong to Zygophyllaceae family and also search for high quality and cheap sources of plant protein. People in developing countries depend mostly on plant protein sources to increase the ease of use proteins in their diets, seeds are a good source of high-quality proteins that could be obtain from the seed meal and use as functional ingredients in various food materials, Medicinal plants have bioactive compound which are used for remedial of different diseases and moreover play a vital role in curing. Plant foodstuff one of the most important factors that enhance plant produce. Nitrogen is the large amount in plant for its presence in the constitution of the protein molecule.
