George Sampatakakis
George is Associate Professor of Drama and Performance at the Department of Theatre Studies, University of Patras, Greece. He is a graduate of the Department of Theatre Studies of the University of Athens (BA, honors) and has studied Classics (M.Phil.) at the University of Cambridge. He holds a Ph.D. in Drama and Theatre (2005) from the University of London (Royal Holloway). His areas of interest include Performance Studies, the Reception of Greek Drama, Theatre Histories and Theories, and Queer Theory.
