In the cement industry, the processed clinker is first heated in a rotary kiln at °C and then lowered to temperature again. Next, the crossbar hammer crusher driven by the drive plate crushes the clinker. Clinker is transferred from the cooler inlet to the cooler outlet by this device. The performance of the main clinker cooler due to small errors can cause the kiln to stop working or disrupt other operations, such as in the mile finish area. In certain cases, cement production was disrupted due to a break in the crossbar component in the clinker cooler using the tested software Ansys Workbench 2020. It is hoped that the data from this simulation can be used as a benchmark between the results of the simulation, it can be used as a benchmark between the results of the best modified design for increasing crossbar durability through statistical loading tests with the FEA method.

The need for electrical energy is increasing, but the energy generally used to produce electrical energy is fossil energy, and the problem faced by most countries, including Indonesia, is the problem of energy reduction. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), the electricity needed is 14 terawatts per day, arguably the equivalent of 210 million barrels of oil. The objectives of this research are (1) to design a wind turbine using fiberglass as the basic material, (2) to make a turbine that can utilize wind energy for electricity generation purposes, and (3) to determine the performance of a modified 4-blade vertical wind turbine on the power it produces. can be generated. The type of research carried out uses experimental methods. The test results show that wind turbines made from fiberglass are able to achieve wind turbine efficiency of 50.7%. The conclusion drawn is that the researchers succeeded in designing a wind turbine from fiberglass as the basic material, the wind turbine can rotate properly and can produce electricity. The generator power produced increases as the wind speed increases. A wind turbine using 4 blades at a wind speed of 21.6 m/s, produces a rotation per minute of 250.6 rpm, produces 108.20 watts and a torque of 107.14 Nm.
The problem in this study is the implementation of industrial work practices that have not been m... more The problem in this study is the implementation of industrial work practices that have not been maximally implemented, this is evidenced by observations that it is found that students are not placed in accordance with their majors at school so that the implementation of industrial work practices does not run as it should and the learning and experience gained is not optimal. This study aims to measure how much relationship there is from industrial work practices with student work readiness. The research used is quantitative research which is correlational in nature where the sampling uses cluster random sampling technique with a total sample of 52 students consisting of 3 departments, namely Machining Engineering (TP), Welding Engineering (TLAS), Industrial Mechanical Engineering (TMI). The method used is associative quantitative research where data collection uses questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive relationship between the value of industrial work practice (PRAKERIN) and student work readiness, which is 4.66% and the remaining 95.34% is related to other factors not examined. Thus this study shows that industrial work practices have an influence on students' work readiness to enter the industrial world. This is evidenced by the research results which have a positive value.

The instruments used in this study include questionnaires, practical performance scores, and documentation. A quantitative research method with a descriptive correlational approach was employed. The study took place at SMK Negeri 1 Lintau Buo, with the research subjects being 11th-grade Mechanical Engineering students. The research was conducted in November, and the sample size was determined to be 54 students, divided into two classes: 28 students in class XI Mechanical Engineering 1 and 26 students in class XI Mechanical Engineering 2. The data analysis results indicate a significant and positive correlation between theoretical knowledge and practical outcomes, with a correlation coefficient of 0.625 and a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between workshop facilities and the learning outcomes of lathe machining techniques for 11th-grade students at SMK Negeri 1 Lintau Buo. This implies that the relationship between workshop facilities and the learning outcomes of lathe machining techniques falls into the strong category.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor yang paling berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kekasaran permukaan Aluminium 6061 pada proses Finishing. Uji Anova lebih tepat untuk menguji pengaruh faktor tersebut. Faktor yang dipertimbangkan yaitu parameter pemesinan seperti Feed Rate 300 mm/menit, 500 mm/menit dan 700 mm/menit, Spindle Speed 2500 rpm, 3000 rpm dan 3500 rpm, Depth of Cut 0,2 mm dan 0,4 mm, Metode Penyayatan Down Cut dan Up Cut dengan 2 variasi material cutter yaitu Hss dan Carbide. Setelah dilakukan pengujian kekasaran permukaan terhadap semua spesimen diperoleh nilai kekasaran permukaan terendah 0,57 μm dikategorikan kelas kekasaran N5 pada penggunaan Feed Rate 300 mm/menit, Spindle Speed 3500 rpm dan Depth of Cut 0,4 mm dengan metode penyayatan Up Cut pada cutter material Carbide dan nilai kekasaran permukaan tertinggi 3,97 μm dikategorikan kelas kekasaran N8 pada penggunaan Feed Rate 700 mm/menit, Spindle Speed 2500 rpm dan Depth of Cut 0,4 mm menggunakan metode penyayatan Up Cut pada cutter material Hss. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI TP-I dan XI TP-II Teknik Pengelasan SMAW di SMK Negeri 2 Kota Sungai Penuh sangat rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkapkan hubungan antar motivasi belajar pada hasil belajar teknik las SMAW di SMK Negeri 2 Kota Sungai Penuh. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 39 peserta didik yang merupakan seluruh peserta didik kelas XI TP di SMK Negeri 2 Kota Sungai Penuh. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh populasi yaitu 39 peserta didik kelas XI TP-I dan II dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total-sampling. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif yang bersifat korelasional dengan pengumpulan data secara instrumental berbentuk kuesioner yang diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya . Teknik analisis yang dipakai ialah teknik pra analisis berupa uji normalitas dan uji linearitas, sedangkan uji hipotesis yang dipakai ialah teknik korelasi Produk Moment. Menurut hasil penelitian uji korelasi didapatkan nilai koefisien sebesar r 0,088 dengan taraf persentase 5% atau 0,05. Artinya, hubungan yang diberikan berdampak positif dan signifikan antara hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar. Ditunjukan semakin besar motivasi belajar peserta didik, maka akan semakin besar dampak hasil belajar peserta didik berikan.

This study aimed to analyze the role of spiritual intelligence in the productivity of employees at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. Methods: This applied, descriptive-correlation study was conducted in 2014. The population consisted of 900 people including all finance staff and managers of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. King questionnaire (version 2008) was used to collect data on spiritual intelligence and a researcher developed questionnaire was used to measure productivity. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling techniques, descriptive statistics, SPSS software (version 19) and LISREL. Results: The ratio of LISREL output, 0.48, indicated a good model fit and a t-value of 5.04 confirmed the effectiveness factor. The results showed that t-values of variables were greater than 1.96 which indicates a positive and significant impact of spiritual intelligence on the productivity of employees. Conclusion: The enhancement of productivity can be achieved through reinforcing spiritual intelligence of employees.

The research design is a pre-experimental type of One-Shot Case Study by conducting treatments whose results will be directly observed and analyzed descriptively. The treatment given is to increase the number of risers in recycled aluminum castings. Variations in the number of risers are 1 riser, 2 riser, and 3 riser. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 231 Inpres Kapunrengan kecamatan Mangarabombang kabupaten Takalar tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SDN 231 Inpres Kapunrengan yang berjumlah 174 siswa. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V sebanyak 30 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data tentang motivasi belajar adalah angket atau kuesioner, dan dokumentasi berupa nilai ulangan harian untuk memperoleh data tentang hasil belajar IPA . Angket motivasi belajar 13 item. Used aluminum is one of the industrial wastes that can be converted into products using the casting method. This study aims to obtain a good casting material with good hardness values and minimal defects. The research will focus on the results of castings by analyzing the visuals and hardness values of the specimens. The research design is a pre-experimental type of One-Shot Case Study by conducting treatments whose results will be directly observed and analyzed descriptively. The treatment given is to increase the number of risers in recycled aluminum castings. Variations in the number of risers are 1 riser, 2 riser, and 3 riser. Each variation has 3 specimens, so there are 9 specimens in the study. The data from the test results contained a fairly large porosity value for each riser variation. The hardness value that has been tested using the Rockwell hardness tester obtained the highest hardness value occurs in the 2 riser variation, namely 27.69 HRA and the lowest hardness value occurs in the 3 riser variation, namely 21.56 HRA. Thus, for casting used aluminum with a casting pattern as in this study, it is best to use 2 risers.

Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SDN 231 Inpres Kapunrengan yang berjumlah 174 siswa. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V sebanyak 30 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data tentang motivasi belajar adalah angket atau kuesioner, dan dokumentasi berupa nilai ulangan harian untuk memperoleh data tentang hasil belajar IPA . Angket motivasi belajar 13 item. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa SDN 231 Inpres Kapunrengan kecamatan Mangarabombang kabupaten Takalar, dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,449 dan p = 0,013. Used aluminum is one of the industrial wastes that can be converted into products using the casting method. This study aims to obtain a good casting material with good hardness values and minimal defects. The research will focus on the results of castings by analyzing the visuals and hardness values of the specimens. The research design is a pre-experimental type of One-Shot Case Study by conducting treatments whose results will be directly observed and analyzed descriptively. The treatment given is to increase the number of risers in recycled aluminum castings. Variations in the number of risers are 1 riser, 2 riser, and 3 riser. Each variation has 3 specimens, so there are 9 specimens in the study. The data from the test results contained a fairly large porosity value for each riser variation. The hardness value that has been tested using the Rockwell hardness tester obtained the highest hardness value occurs in the 2 riser variation, namely 27.69 HRA and the lowest hardness value occurs in the 3 riser variation, namely 21.56 HRA. Thus, for casting used aluminum with a casting pattern as in this study, it is best to use 2 risers.
Frame is an important part of a vehicle which support the vehicle weight, engine and loads. Frame... more Frame is an important part of a vehicle which support the vehicle weight, engine and loads. Frame to be analyzed is the frame of an Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV) which is used as a material handling. Loads position on the AGV is designed to rotate and the model resembles a forklift, so the frame safety is become major consideration. An AGV frame must be strong, rigid, and safe for loading and unloading conditions in accordance with the actual conditions. The highest loads do not only happen at one point because it's position can be rotated up and down, so the critical points will occur in some parts. Simulations will be performed by static and dynamic loads. Furthermore, the simulation results will be validated directly by using a strain gage testing. The material used in this research is ASTM A36 carbon steel, while the maximum load to be lifted is 100 kg, with a safety factor of 2. The analysis was conducted using Abaqus 6-11 to determine critical points. Its purpose is to determine the deformation and critical areas of all frame structures, such as Von Mises stress, maximum diplacement and maximum strain at it's critical points. The results show that the critical points occured in the first design is in the mounting connector with lifting, mounting connectors with suspension and frame ends with 2.157 mm in displacement, 0.00137 of maximum strain, and 377.523 MPa of Von Mises stress. The second design which is simulated using static loads shows that the critical points are on the mounting which causes the largest displacement occur in first variations that is 0.748 mm of displacement, 0.000762 of maximum strain, and 154.356 MPa of Von Mises stress. Furthermore, the Steady State Dynamic shows, that the maximum Von Mises stress is to 1135.63 MPa at the frequency of 3.053 Hz. After the modification, by correctiing the critical sections, the stress decreasing to 23.233 MPa on frequency of 3.053 Hz. However the Von Mises stress is still 608.169 MPa. Since it's only occur in the conjunction beetwen two elements, thus it is considered to be safe. The condition is that the 3rd design become the most optimum and recommended for the next AGV.
