In it, I argue that Paul de-anthrocentralized suffering, recasting it as an experience shared by the entire cosmos. In so doing, Paul presents the redemption of Christ as a cosmic transformation within which redeemed humanity are key actors. Finally, this paper applies the ethics of environmental concern to current eco-theological consideration, citing Pope Francis as an example.
